Has anyone else had a bad preseason in accuracy. Last season, my kicker was 11/12 from 40-49. This preseason he is 2/7 from the same range. I don't understand how it could drop so bad.

Sim changes. Mine had the same issue:

15/15 last season, 2/5 preseason.

Did extra points get easier, or did my kicker have the best game ever?

62/62 XPs in a silly blowout game.

Also, my guy is 9/9 this preseason (with 6 over 40 yards and 3 over 50) so I haven't experienced any problems yet.

My guess is higher level kickers weren't as affected as the lower level kickers, especially the ones who hadn't gotten around to evening out their builds.

I'm 100% through preseason, XPs and FGs, 124/124 and 10/10, respectively.

Every preseason, there seems to be an accuracy issue for some K's that goes away during the regular season.

I was 2/5 in preseason...9/12 lifetime between 40-49...hopefully this doesn't continue into regular season

In the last 2 seasons, he's been 24-for-26 from 40-49 and those missed over 50 were 55+.

Missed another 2 FG's today, one from 52 and the other from 33.5 ...

It's crap to have a kicker be pretty good one season, and with a tweak of the formulas not worth much the next. It's not like my guy has super high vision, but it isn't low either. He shouldn't go form near perfect in a range to hardly able to make a field goal from the same range.

Fair enough. But in my opinion with kickers there isn't much difference between a good build and a bad one. I mean if you're perfect at level 40, what's the point of ever leveling any higher?
