Sorry I am a bit late with this, numbers are from the last day of season 14, I will update at some point in the preseason with the numbers reflecting roster changes and boosts.
Here is the traditional first look at the average levels around Alpha at the eve , with the standard disclaimer that level does not mean everything, but as per usual it might give an indication who might have to rely on better builds, tactics or all of the above to come out a winner. Of course in season 13 the eventual Champions Farmers were in second last position before the season ...
Second disclaimer, due to many veterans going into the decline at some point the averages somewhat reflect a teams philosophy, several seem to go with their veterans, probably for one more last hurrah, while others went young completely, and a few are running with a mixture of veterans and up and coming players.
The difference in average level from #1 to #16 from last season has gone up by a lot, from around 9.5 levels to around 20 as the Punks seem to be intend to go with an even younger squad than before. Outside the Punks it is just around 7, a decline back to where it was in season 13. These differences will likely go further down though once people start to boost, as the teams with the higher averages likely have more players on the roster that can't boost anymore this season.
All human players of level 30+ were considered for this snapshot, currently no team has players lower than that on the roster:
68.25 Seville Golden Eagles; 48 players; median 69; effective 932.9
68.16 Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks; 32 players; median 69; effective 933.64
67.08 Italian Stallions; 49 players; median 68; effective 940.93
66.27 Naples Purple Nurples; 51 players; median 67; effective 945.15
65.86 Toro Toreros; 42 players; median 67; effective 931.43
65.21 LUX Borg; 52 players; median 66; effective 964.17
65.15 Burnt Orange Rising; 21 players; median 66; effective 941.28
65.02 Belfast Brawlers; 50 players; median 66; effective 940.14
64.85 Parma Panthers; 52 players; median 65; effective 967.66
64.78 E-City Mercenaries; 54 players; median 66; effective 937.4
64.19 Tulsa Doom; 53 players; median 66; effective 954.09
62.75 Fareham Demons; 48 players; median 64; effective 946.89
62.70 Speyside Whiskies; 54 players; median 62; effective 984.95
61.46 München Zeebachs; 54 players; median 61; effective 914.48
61.02 Black Hand; 49 players; median 61; effective 922.16
48.96 Boston Punks; 55 players; median 45; effective 799.49
Recruiting certainly is still ongoing for several teams, so there will be some changes before the start of the season. Sadly it looks like BOR and MVB might not be able or want to field competitive teams though.
Chemistry difference is not as widely spread as last season either, while some teams are close to 100 already the lowest for the competitive teams is 59, still this could be a factor in some of the early season games if the right teams are matched up.
