Welcome Back! This is the sixth installment of the Addicts Tournament. This is an elite tournament and we're looking for the best of the best. If you meet the eligibility requirements, you're free to sign up.
Requirements to sign up for the tournament:
#1 - Your overall scouting report must be 63 or greater.
#2 - You must meet the following win requirements based upon your league at the time the wins were earned during Season 14:
Current World League or World League in S14 - Any Team
Pro League in S14 - 8 wins or better
AAA League in S14 - 12 wins or better, or win conference championship game in playoffs, OR promoted to Pro level
This will be a 64 team "World Cup" format tournament.The 64 teams are initially divided into sixteen 4-team groups. In our “Group Round”, the teams in each group play a mini-round-robin and the top two teams from each group advance to a 32-team single-elimination bracket.
*Note: Just because you signed up doesn't secure your team a spot. If a team in a better league or standing registers for this tournament and we are in overflow they will get a spot. This tournament is for the best teams in GLB to play across the board.

The tournament rules are simple - failure to meet them, however, will result in forfeiture. No second chances. Period.
- Matches will be scheduled for you by the GLB Tournament staff
- If a GM signs a team up, verification will be made with Owner
- A PM will be sent to owner upon signup to verify T.O.C. of the Addicts Tournament.
- You must NOT schedule any other scrims on Addict Tournament days - This could result in forfeiture
- Each match will cost the team owner 25 Flex Points
- If you schedule a scrim thinking its part of the tournament, IT IS NOT. We are scheduling the scrimmages.
- Once a match is scheduled, it cannot be unscheduled, and there are no Flex Point refunds

Matches that are scheduled will cost each team owner 25 flex and no refunds are given.
If you schedule a match on your own and a staff member schedules a duplicate match,
the match you scheduled will not count nor will you recieve a refund. Tournament schedulers
are the only ones that should be scheduling matches. Matches for each round will be scheduled the day
following the previous round (Day 3 for the first round). Should you decide to drop out, you must notify the
tournament organizer. If you decide to opt out after matches have been scheduled, no Flex Point refund will
be awarded. Should you decide to retract your opting out, you must notify the tournament organizer BEFORE
the next game is simulated that you have decided to stay in. If you win your match, but no retraction to your
opting out had been sent, you will forfeit that win.

Who sponsors / organizes this tournament?
The Addicts Tournament is sponsored by the Addicts Community and sanctioned by GLB. All winnings are paid by Addict Members.

What are the prizes?

Third place gets 15% of Prize Pool and a Bronze trophy. Fourth Place gets 10% of Prize Pool. The Offensive MVP and Defensive MVP each get 5% or Prize Pool and a trophy for their profile page.
What is the Prize Pool?
In previous seasons we would raise money to meet a total of 20,000 flex to be paid out. 60.00% of the prize pool went to the main tournament while the remaining of the pool went to the bracket challenge and casual tournament. This will continue but this time there will be no cap on the funds that are raised. The official prize pool will be calculated as such:
Prize Pool = (Total Flex Raised) - (OMVP & DMVP Flex) - (Bracket Challenge Flex) - (Casual Tournament)
What is the format?
The Addicts Tournament is based on a “World Cup” format. The 64 teams are initially divided into sixteen 4-team groups. In our “Group Round”, the teams in each group play a mini-round-robin and the top two teams from each group advance to a 32-team single-elimination bracket.
What are the tiebreakers?
If, at the end of the group round, two teams are tied in their group standings, the result of their head-to-head match will be the tiebreaker. If three teams are tied, cumulative points differential is the tiebreaker. Once in the bracket, if a game ends in a tie, total yards gained will be the tiebreaker.
Are there scheduling guidelines / deadlines?
No there are not. This tournament is fully ran by the staff. Your games will be scheduled for you on the designated days assigned. Please refer to the Tournament signup for scheduled days. If you schedule your team in a game and the staff schedules one as well, your scheduled scrim will not count and you will not receive a refund of flex.
Scheduling Conflicts
If you are a World League or AAA team we understand your games are on Odd days, where as the Pro leagues are on Even days. Please understand we are going to schedule the games that is fair as best as we can tell... we will not just schedule a game blindly.
