I'm sure a lot of you will think this is a rage quit, but it couldn't be further from the truth. I've been mulling over whether or not I want to keep the team around for a few seasons now. It quit being fun somewhere around season 9-10, and the bus has been running on mostly fumes since then. What kept me around was wanting to give the agents on my team one good shot at WL, but we came up a little short.

At best, if we stuck around and made WL next season, a lot of our dots would be in decline or no longer around, and since I don't really enjoy game planning, and don't feel I can give it my 100%, I've decided to call it quits. The game feels too much like a job I want to quit, and that's the biggest sign for me.

We have an amazing group of agents that have been mostly together since day one, or very early on. Couldn't have asked for a better bunch, and a less selfish group of team-players. It's been a good ride.

All of our CBs are top notch

I would have found a DC and OC ages ago Sean. To many hats for one person will burn you out. I had a team in USA ball from season 3 to 6 and burnt out fast doing everything myself.

Try turning the reigns over to some understudies or vet coordinators. You may find it more enjoyable as just a consultant on your team.

Sorry to see you go...makes our job a little easier next season though....

All of the good ones are busy on teams. You need to take a gamble with new people, and hope they learn fast and don't screw up too bad. Had a team early on take a gamble on me, and I helped get them to WL, but thats a rare case.

seriously though, I've been impressed by your team and you all season long. Shame to see such a great team say good bye, but I completely understand. Good luck with whatever you do from now on. Oh and would you like a DC job?

GL sean, you put one hell of a team together.........EEPL just got a little weaker....

I can honestly say Sean1979 is one of the best team owners I've ever been associated with, and I started way back in season 1.
Great game planner, player builder, owner and great sense of humor. Real class act.
The guy treated everyone well and never had any drama on the team. (Except for Nakedpanic, LOL)

yeah, sean is the man. Sort of a perverse sense of humor, thats a good thing though
