* 7 ... Northwest Nighthawks ... 9-6-0

Eliminated: Adriana Lima Beans, Oakland BlackReign, Minnesota Skulls, SOUTH GEORGIA GROWL, Gaines Panthers, Austin Longhorns, and Corpus Christi Illegal Aliens.
Canton NFL "Busts" pull off a must win against Mentone Beach in a very close shootout. Their work isn't over if they want a shot at the playoffs in their first season in the USAPL. They will need to take down the Shockers to get in and they'll need the Panthers to pull out an upset over the Beasts. Things are going to be tough for the Busts, but hey it is their first season up here.
Chicago Beasts get to face their final game against the Panthers who they should handle with no problem at all. They can't ignore the game and somehow get upset since they're not quite in the playoffs yet, but I don't see them missing out. They can't move up in the standings with a win so they're going to have to face off with the Shockers in round 1 of their first season in the USAPL.
Northwest Nighthawks are ready for another playoff run after missing out last season. It's not clear yet who their round 1 matchup will be, but it's a good chance that they will have to face off with MEM again. I'm sure they'll be pulling for KKAR this Thursday, but then again if they do win, do you really want to face them?
New Jersey Battalion are in the playoffs and have an easy matchup to close out the season. They're waiting to see who they will have to matchup in round 1 and there is a chance they could move up in the standings to face off with the Nerf with an Assault loss. They played both KKAR and MEM tough so I'm sure they're fine with either matchup; however, they could have to face off with the Nerf which didn't go over so hot, but it will be a waiting game for them.
Mentone Beach Assault is in the playoffs for their first time in the USAPL and will get an easy game to close out their schedule. They should be facing off with KKAR which will be a great matchup for these teams as sitting at the #4 and #5 seed; anything can happen. Being an OC at the last game was great; too bad for the DCs! Honestly I'm just surprised we made it this high. There is a chance the Assault could matchup with the Nerf which will be another tough game for the newcomers.
Bortsville Mystery Nerf are in the playoffs and will get to host a playoff game! In this hard economy this is a great thing to have and a hard thing to earn. They'll get a decent game to close out the season, but it won't be too tough for these guys. With a win they'll move up to the #3 seed and face off with the Battalion who they destroyed the last time they faced them. A loss will give them a matchup against the Assault for a little payback for a fluke loss early in the season. I see them throwing the game just so they can destroy the Assault and prove a point.
Ketchikan Kamper Adventure Rentals got unlucky and had to face off with Alpine to start the season; then with only a blowout from the Masterminds to game plan from they fell victim to the Assault and started off the season 0-2. They pulled it together and took down the mighty Shockers; then only to get beat by the Beasts! That's when the roller coaster stopped and KKAR's dismantling of the West began. They've poured on 11 straight so far and are primed for yet another win in their final week. It won't be easy to get a win on MEM, but it would put them in the #2 seed and two home games. A loss here could drop them to the #4 seed so they'll need a win in order to avoid the Assault once again.
Monmouth Evil Monkeys are setting in the driver's seat for the #2 seed and 2 home games; they only need to get 1 more win to finish off the season. I'm not sure if they'll prepare for this as much as they prepared for their showdown with Jax Beach, but this should be a touch closer. The #2 seed will most likely face off with the Nighthawks which should be MEM's matchup for round 1, but if they lose they could have to face off with the Battalion. Either way their sights are on the Shockers as they stand in their way to return to the World League.
Cincinnati Shockers just slipped once this season as they showed they still belonged up in the World League. They've locked up home field advantage throughout the playoffs in the West and they should finish off the season with no problem at all. They should sit on the opposite side of the bracket from MEM and there's a good chance that will be the showdown for the West.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:
> 1 ... Minneapolis Masterminds ... 15-0-0
^ 2 ... Alpine Golfers ... 14-1-0
^ 3 ... Louisville Baby Kittens ... 13-2-0
* 4 ... All The King's Men ... 12-3-0
* 5 ... Grand Haven Mist ... 11-4-0
* 6 ... Atlanta Purple Penguins ... 9-6-0
* 7 ... Tennessee Outlaws ... 8-6-1
* 8 ... Czech Yourself ... 8-7-0
Eliminated: The Blazing Chocolate Turtles, Brokeback Mountainmen, American Freedom, Over The Rhine Red Dots, Round Rock Raptors, and Jax Beach Juggernauts.
Czech Yourself managed to just scrape enough wins together for the opportunity to play 1 more meaningful game; too bad it's against the Masterminds where they have zero chance of winning. Plus side, they made it to the playoffs their second season in the USAPL; they could do even better next season.
Tennessee Outlaws managed to get into the playoffs and are sitting in 7th place which is huge because they won't have to face off with the Masterminds! They do close out the season against a monster of a team, but I'm sure they can handle those boys! With this win and a Penguins loss (which is highly likely) the Outlaws will actually finish off the season in the #6 seed. Too bad they'll have to wait to see who they will get to play.
Atlanta Purple Penguins make the playoffs, but can't move up even with a win and they'll have to close out against the Golfers. Downside is they lose and they move down to the #7 seed and should have to face the Golfers in the first round! If they win somehow, they will have to wait to see what happens, but if they beat the Golfers; they're looking really good for the playoffs.
Grand Haven Mist are sitting in 5th place, but could move up with a win and a ATKM loss. Of course they'll have to beat the Masterminds who I'm sure are not at all mad about the recent events with the MVP race. I'm sure if it was possible the Mastermind defense would be set to KILL when Foley walks on to the field. With the probably loss the Mist are looking at the #5 seed and a game against the loser of the ATKM vs Kittens game.
All The King's Men should hold on to their home playoff game, but they'll need to get the win over the Kittens to move up higher in the standings. A loss here should have them matched up with the Mist, but a win really means everything seeing how the #3 seed won't have to be in the same bracket as the Masterminds. ATKM's playoff game starts this week!
Louisville Baby Kittens are going to get a home playoff game, but they need to focus on their game against ATKM so they can avoid the Masterminds till later in the playoffs. They've had a strong season so a win here wouldn't be surprising and then they would face off with the Outlaws in the first round of the playoffs.
Alpine Golfers have locked up the #2 seed and at least home playoff games. They should get the win to close out the season and should be facing off with the Penguins to start their playoff run. I know these guys want to return to the World League, but they have someone in their way!
Minneapolis Masterminds should finish off the season on a perfect streak and walk through the playoffs with home field advantage; I don't see anyone standing in their way as they move up to the World League next season.
