I know Gerr has talked that he is going to retire when you get all the flex back. Anyone have any thoughts to what day that is allowed? I'm thinking -x day of the preseason.

You never get 100% flex back if you have boosted and/or have CEQ, but waiting for the system to come in gets you 80-90%, which is better than the 70% currently.
As for when that will happen, dunno. Going to ask in the Q&A tonight. But my gut tells me we won't be able to get that bonus until it turns S15 and they implement the changes. If that is the case, then people have a choice to make. Either retire on day 40 and get the low 70% return, but create all your players on day 40. Or retire on the first day of S15 and get the better flex return, but then create your players 10+ days later than those created on day 40.
Personally, I think that's a sneaky way for GLB to get more money as some people will buy some flex to create their core players on day 40, then create the rest on the 1st day of S15.

Revised what we will be doing for players between 1-80 days old:
3) If your player is between 1-80 days old you will be forced to choose an archetype before the end of pre-season. If you do not choose one by then you will be assigned the default archetype for that position. If you would rather retire your player then choose an archetype, you can do so and receive a full (100%) refund.

It's only a one-time deal. Sure, this season will be a little odd because a lot of people who would ordinarily be stingy will freely spend all their flex knowing they'll get it back, but it'll go back to normal next season.

Looks like you can retire them and make the new archetypes on day 41. So you lose out on 2 tp, but get to make with new archetypes. sorta a toss up
