Predicting? Ha ha ha! My hope is that they try to change up too much after the loss and that they give their next opponent an opportunity.
So if LTS is reading this - nothing to see here....move along.

Interesting prediction by EO...I'll provide the rest
Season record: 48-15
GOTW1
Hamburg Parrots (7-4) @ La Tourette Syndrome (11-0)
The theme of this thread so far, and this one has a bit of history to it! (although not quite the amount of the Parrots/Amsterdam...do Hamburg just get under everyones beaks?!). It began in the AA league in Season 9 when LTS won 34-10, though the rivalry really got going in Season 10 when Hamburg inflicted LTS's only loss that season 17-23. Since then, LTS have won 2 straight and Hamburg are looking for revenge. Will we have a repeat of Season 10 all over again? (I bloody well hope not!!)
Actual: LTS 47-24 - interesting game this one, which kinda got away from the Parrots in the 4th quarter. Our top RDE was really on his game today and got us out of a lot of sticky situations...and I finally found out how Hamburg have been so free scoring this season! A win in the next game will guarantee us the #1 spot in the league with 3 games to go, whilst Hamburg should pick up wins in 3 of the last 4 games to comfortably make the playoff.
GOTW2
Team Perkis (7-4) @ Dresden Demons (7-4)
These are two 7-4 teams who have shown flashes of brilliance (Amsterdam/Bath) but have not sustained that throughout the season (Belfast/Bjelasnica). I would expect both teams to still make the playoffs given their other games this season, but this one could just decide who finishes above who. Current form isn't particularly helpful either...all I can say is this going to be a pretty close game, though Dresden should just have enough.
Prediction: Dresden by 7.
Actual: Perkis 30-9 - Perkis...what are you doing to me! You've officially replaced Warsaw as the hardest team to read with this result, which I couldn't imagine happening after the loss to Belfast. Their HBs really did the brunt of the work though, with 2x100+yd games helped by a dominant showing from the O-Line (not often you see a pancake leader on the Top Performers list...). Both teams have a pretty tricky run in, both having the Empire and Lyon still to play and performances in those games could still decide the order of these teams in the playoff shakedown...Dresden will need to take a serious look at their run defense though if they're going to make an impact.
Amsterdam Affliction (9-2) @ Lyon Winemakers (6-5)
Amsterdam are rocking at the moment, and with LTS and Bath still to play they must pick up as many wins as possible to keep their league position safe. After a couple of losses to 7-4 teams, Lyon are looking less and less likely to make the playoffs and need a big win to kick their season into life (especially with all of the other big teams having already been played). Will they get it here? Sadly I don't think so.
Prediction: Amsterdam by 13.
Actual: Amsterdam 17-10 - not the kind of result I would expect from the #2 team in the league to be honest...we all know how good the Amsterdam offense is but for some reason they just don't see to be firing. This game it was a couple of fumbles that stopped a lot of the progress (although they only resulted in a net loss of 3 points), and this will have to be sorted to maintain their league position. I just hope it doesn't get sorted before the next game
As for Lyon, a result here would have been very handy...I wouldn't say any of their final four games are easy and they risk being overtaken by both Belfast and Bjelasnica with some poor results there. When we played them earlier in the season I thought they had plenty of options on the offense, but they just don't seem to have used that effectively. I think they should now be looking at making a big recruiting effort this off-season for a good run at the playoffs next season.
Bjelasnica Red Star (5-6) @ The Evil Empire (8-3)
Evil have finally broken away from the main group and have created their own little group of three with Bath and Amsterdam in the home playoff spots after the win last game. With reasonably easy games for those two, they need to keep up the pressure with a win against Bjelasnica, who themselves are still with a shout (albeit a feint one) of grabbing the 8th playoff spot. This is pretty much a must win for them, but despite an impressive last couple of wins I can't see them getting the better of the Empire.
Prediction: Empire by 17.
Actual: Empire 43-10 - I was unaware of the rivalry between these two, but it looked like the Empire wanted this one a lot more. This was yet another example of a strong running offense dominating the game, whilst the Evil QB made the majority of plays he needed just to rub salt into the wounds a little bit. Considering the remaining games, the Empire have a great chance of going on a little streak here, which could quite easily get them the #1-3 playoff seed, which would help them out a lot. Given they've still got a game against LTS to look forward to, Red Star are probably just about out of it now...though they could quite easily pick up 3 more wins to finish 8-8.
Belfast Commandos (5-6) @ D-Town Bushwalkers (4-7)
With at least one 7-4 team remaining that way (and Lyon predicted to remain at 6-5), Belfast could move within one game of the playoffs with a win against a D-Town team slipping down the league on a run of 4 losses. That slide should continue as far as Game 15 where a matchup against Rome would be very interesting...I don't see D-Town pulling off any surprises.
Prediction: Belfast by 17.
Actual: Belfast 62-0 - I hope this isn't a sign of D-Town giving up the season...I really didn't think the result would be this one-sided. To be honest though, the performance was one sided, with another solid ground attack really dominating this game. I gotta admit Belfast surprised me with their defense, although they'll need to replicate this with a stronger offense. Their next game against the Empire is crucial though - a win there and they're looking at a min of 3 wins out of the final 4 games which should be enough to make them a surprise playoff team...the Parrots and Dresden need to look over their shoulders at the mo.
Bath Killer Bees (8-3) @ Rome Titans (1-10)
No offense to the teams here, but these three games aren't very interesting. After nearly sh*tting themselves watching the Stockholm game, Bath have got the warning that you can't relax for a moment in this league (well, maybe against Parts but that's it!) and I fear Rome will be on the end of a pretty big scoreline.
Prediction: Bath by 85.
Actual: Bath 33-13 - something tells me Bath are padding somewhat with the lesser teams...they are far better than the performance they showed here, and whilst a lot of credit must go to Rome for that, especially with the number of fumbles they forced (maybe something to consider for playoff teams...), I think we'll be seeing a stronger Bath team as we get closer to playoff time.
Warsaw Wolves (7-4) @ Plainview Bulldogs (1-10)
A whisker from ending the streak, Warsaw have a nice point-scoring trip to Plainview, who will see their own winning streak ended rather quickly. At least you're still going to be here next season Plainview!
Prediction: Warsaw by 83.
Actual: Warsaw 108-3 - back to earth with a bump for Plainview, although they had a pretty reasonable 1st quarter before Warsaw took over. With 3 easy games left, Warsaw are guaranteed a playoff place now...they should be interesting.
Parts Unknown (0-11) @ Stockholm Meatballs (2-9)
This looks like it'll be Stockholm's last win this season, whilst for Parts this will be 13 consecutive losses...ouch!
Prediction: Stockholm by 38.
Actual: Stockholm 59-6 - pretty normal game until Stockholm ran riot in the 2nd half...it'll be interesting to see now whether they can pick up another win!
PREDICTION RECORD: 6-1...damn Perkis
