* Note: Unlike the East, there is a clear-cut Game of the Week in the West. For my money, I'd take Kansas City...not just against the spread, but for the win. Curtis and crew have shown more than the projector gives them credit for. Will they be 20-0? Not sure yet...the game against Saskatoon is the first of three tough challenges in a row, but I do see them at 11-0 after this one.

Again we'll take a quick look at how the projector did...both in picking the winner and determining the spread. I suspect as we near the final four weeks of the season it should be more accurate in some respects...but the mid-season falling apart of a team or two will skew things a bit.

As was the case in Week 9, the projector correctly picked 6 out of 8 winners in the East. The Charlesburgh/Puvirntiuq game looked much less like the "Game of the Week" than did the match-up between Cobden and Village. SquareEnix managed quite the upset (according to the projector) in their win over the Hogsnakes and the Paradise Cheesburgers stunned the Yellowknife Rented Mules for their first win of the season.

As it was the case last week for both conferences, the West joined the East in going 6 out of 8 according to the projector. As we've discussed before...the projector has flaws, the biggest of which may be picking the Nebraska to win against anything but a CPU-gut job. The underdog Black Knights managed the upset (?) against the Husker Maniacs as did the Salty Dogs against the Winnipeg Warriors. Did the Winnipeg / St. John's match-up live up to the "Game of the Week" billing...? I'm too biased to answer, but I was pleased with the outcome...especially for a team predicted to go 3-13. When will dimmyfinster be back from vacation?

Maybe we're a bit better than the projector gives us credit for. We "upset" CBID as well. Just took us a bit to adapt to Bort's offensive sim changes to the QB position from last season.

Im FAR from looking at this game! The next game with the SILVERBACKS is going to be a VERY tough matchup and we will see what happens. but dang they have been impressive.
