What they are and how they should be judged. Awards are apart of every sport and GLB is no different. I will list an award along with its criteria to be eligible for us to use from year to year to hand out.

***BBB #12 LEAGUE MVP***

- The award of all awards...base this on stats that stand above the rest. Also, on how much that player meant to their team. Did they carry their team or did they lead it?

Each of the awards below will have a Western and Eastern Conference version.


***OFFENSIVE MVP***

- Base the candidate for this award on the most dominant Offensive statistics of the year.

***DEFENSIVE MVP

- Base the candidate for this award on the most dominant Defensive statistics of the year.

***ROOKIE of the YEAR***

- Base this candidate on a player lvl 11 or lower that had the most dominant statistics when compared to all the players of that level.

***LAMISIL NEWCOMER of the YEAR***

- Base this candidate on a player that was signed as a FA or traded into our League that had the most dominant statistics when compared to all the players under the same circumstances. The only rule being that no stats from other leagues count.

***BUD LIGHT DIFFERENCE MAKER***

- Base this candidate on a player that was acquired via FA or trade during the season that had a hand in turning your team around. Your team had to have won more games than you lost after the player was acquired.

***ICY-HOT COMEBACK PLAYER of the YEAR***

- Base this candidate on a players statistics that drastically improved from the prior year.

***VIAGRA COACH of the YEAR***

- Base this candidate on an owner that turned his team around or manuevured them to greatness.

***ENZYTE O LINEMEN of the YEAR***

- Base this candidate on a O Linemen that statistically dominated all others.

***GILETTE CLUTH KICKER***

- Base this candidate on a K that statistically dominated all others.

If every owner agrees to recognize these awards we can give them out at the end of each year. I wouldn't mind also having a thread with players of the week for each conference that can be used to help people judge the yearly awards.

For the Weekly awards every owner can submit a player their team chose to represent their team and then we can vote who would win. Then once the end of the year came again the owner can submit their candidate for each yearly award. I know I like to give out a player of the game award for my players every week. Just a way to keep some activity in the team forums.

So any feedback will be appreciated. No sense in argueing about awards since they are meant for fun.

I don't mind doing weekly awards and at all but for the season rewards we'll probably do it how I did last season. I do like how you added the the Icy Hot, etc.

How did you do it last year? I wasn't very active on the forums till the end. My suggestion just requires Owner participation and such Owner's to get their own player's involved some to put forth candidates. I wouldn't have bothered if I we didn't have the participation that we do have in BBB#12.

Well last year it was pretty obvious who the top guys were in terms of statistics, Ace Robinson, Juan Gotti. What we'll do is near the end of the season, we'll do a little commission of Owners, have them send ballots to someone who tallys it and then posts the Awards. Last year I think it was something myself as the Tally (no vote, unless it was 2-2 then i'd decide), Tyrante, thedirtyleg, Salizy and Bearphin. Luckily I didn't need to vote, tallied up the ballots and posted it.

Does that mean your planning on using my Award definitions and criteria? If so it kind of involves owners to send in candidates because I woulnd't want to research the new comer, difference maker, or comeback awards.

I personally just like the names you added not the actual idea for a "newcomer award" because as you said it would be kind of a pain.

We'll do the League Commissioner/Conference Commissioners and then the 5 will decide.

I think we need an award for owner of the year. Based on tactics, trades, signings, and player chemistry and not just records and statistics.

OK Im lost; how does the voting work? Do the 5 comissioners vote or do all the owners vote?

1 for an owner of the year

and not to leave the mose under appreciated players out 1 for the O Linemen
