Ok. So my problem of course is stopping the run. I own a pee wee team and we are just getting flat out ran over. In a couple of different areas too. I'm guessing it all starts up front. Our D-Line and blitzing LB's are getting pancaked at the other teams' will. It's kind of hard to stop someone when you're already on the ground. I get that but my question is why is it happening so often? I mean we're getting pancaked about 10-15 times per game. Our team doesn't manhandle the other teams like this so what is the difference. Our league is very competitive with all of the teams, with the exception of about 2 or 3, are all very closely rated. I run a 3-4 and have had my D-Line and ILB's training strength (and dropping SP's into strength) from day one yet they are getting pancaked multiple times every game. How is this possible?
Also we're not missing tackles just not in the right position to make the tackles. I have the LB's and Safeties tagging the RB's yet still can't stop the run. In some instances where I'm playing a team that runs exclusively I'll even put my CB's on their RB's and they still run all over us. I just don't understand how they can run so freely on us when we are rated so closely and I'm putting the players where they need to be. I've been an agent on GLB for about 4 seasons now but this is my first go at owning a team. Also the first time that I've co-ordinated so I'm aware that I may be missing something here since I'm new to ownership. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
