I know the first softcap is 48.07. Do I build my DE by saving my initial SPs and just use my training to reach my attribute goal; or should I boost and get to that goal right away so that I may train a different attribute? Does the softcap work by training points or skill points? I'm a little confused and I need to understand how this works so I can build a quality player.

read this, it might help:

http://www.glbwiki.com/index.php?title=Build_Strategies_Comparison

basically, save your initial 15 SP. train your main two attributes (strength/tackling) and keep saving SP. once you have enough SP, train your attribute (strength) to around 95% and cap it, to the +2.

start training your next main attributes (tackling/agility). keep training those while still pumping SP into your first main one (strength). keep doing this until you have your main attribute at a natural level you want, +6.

than start dumping SP into the next attribute, tackling. get it where it want it, +6. then dump points into your next one, agility.

so on and so forth.

the point is to get your attributes to the next caps asap to take advantage of the natural gains from leveling.

hope this helps a bit.

ps: the attributes in () are just examples.
