Anyone have any luck with VA's for coverage LB's? I currently have these...

Clutch - 15
3rd Down Stopper - 15

Certainly jackhammer and ballhawk are better than clutch and 3rd down stopper. I consider David vs Goliath a must for coverage backers as well.

Other than DvG, there isn't a VA that I would pick ahead of it, especailly for a LB that plays in space.

Great, thanks for the input. I've been thinking a lot of ballhawk as well, just wasn't sure how successful its been for LB's.

Long reach and Sure tackler are not a good pairing then??
I am surprised.. I agree Ballhawk is awesome but getting to 40 jumoimg is a sacrifice

i like Dvg better than sure tackler. sure tackler just makes a reroll while DvG increases your chance to tackle. most LBs are heavy on speed/agility and are more prone to missing tackles against power backs (ie. DvG is a good idea)
long reach is ok if youre in a lot on 3rd down, but i tend to think the chances of it firing are slim because it has to be 3rd/4th down and a pass play and to your guy and you would have missed the deflection in the first place.
