Barry D - http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=167909&playoffs=0

Two time SEA PRO receiving yards champion. The trophies don't tell the whole story of this great dot
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player_awards.pl?player_id=167909

A GLB Legend, and my favorite dot in the game.

Sadly retired this offseason, but in his last game, very deep into decline, in the league championship against the Manila Thrillaz, he killed one last time grabbing 6 receptions for 93.5 yards and 3 TDs.

in the words of pimpin_snoopy

"Barry D was the Red Bull equivalent of Garuda, Hindu demigod and namesake of the conference the WR dominated. According to Wikipedia, "when Garuda first burst forth from his egg, he appeared as a raging inferno equal to the cosmic conflagration that consumes the world at the end of every age. Frightened, the gods begged him for mercy. Garuda, hearing their plea, reduced himself in size and energy."

That pretty much exactly describes Barry D's GLB career, bursting forth as a raging inferno once the Red Bulls plucked him from the Burma Bulldogs. He moved on the the Cha Chings; frightened, the rest of GLB begged for mercy. Pierre Thomas, hearing USA Pro's plea, in his X-factor expose accidentally got Barry D nerfed in speed and agility.

Words can only go so far in conveying the fear Barry D instilled in D-Coordinators' hearts, and soreness he instilled in opposing CBs' rectal orifices. I'll leave you with a single box score that illustrates just how deadly he was in his prime: http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=453818 -- in that 4th quarter, he truly became the cosmic conflagration and consumed the world. Everything we believe to have happened since then has just been a figment of our terror-crazed minds, concocted whole cloth in that last instant, as we were driven insane by the impending destruction of all we know and love, due to the sheer dominance of a single WR."

If he was a Garuda though you should of sent him over here! Instead I'm stuck with KSM, Sucko the Clown, Captain Spaulding, and Randall McSuck.

Barry D was an Xfactor dot no doubt. SEAPL Hall of Famer. Although his record Vs LSP was 1-3

Hey, there's a thread up top for the legendary teams - how about one for the G.O.A.T. players?...

We will soon be releasing the first SEAPL Hall of Fame class (via the HoF committee) and adding to that class each season.

Barry D' had an awesome career, but as I stated in our team forums he was only as good as the guys throwing him the ball.

So a lot of thanks to the QB's that made a good receiver great!
