How does this VA work? Does the 5% Pass Quality bonus increase for every point added. So if you added 10 points it would be a 50% Pass Quality bonus? I know the time increases for every point, so for 10 points you would have the bonus for the last 5 min of the 2nd and 4th quarters if losing.

I don't think that's what he's asking.
tresselsux: I can't see the code, obviously, but the description definitely says that the pass quality increases for every point in clock manager. Which makes sense because putting 15 points into a VA for only a 5% bonus to pass quality would be weak sauce.

nope, percentage is the same (+5% PQ) and what change is the amount of time the VA is active.

You sure? That's not how if reads. Any references?

I don't have any references but the VA certainly reads like the +PQ goes up. As I said, it doesn't make sense otherwise.

Clock Manager
This player excels in the two minute drill. Each level of Clock Manager gives a +5% bonus to catching passes as a receiver, or +5% to pass quality if QB, when trailing with less than 30 seconds left in the 2nd or 4th quarters. In addition, each level of Clock Manager extends the bonus by an additional 30 seconds into the quarter.

hmmm... could be damn good, that's +75% pass quality when maxed, and a total of 15 minutes of the boost when active. Too bad you need to be trailing

I don't think you need to be trailing anymore... i think it's at anytime now... right?

If that was the case I think he would have changed the text to not specifically state you have to be losing.

Yes, you need to be trailing, which is why the bonus is so huge. It's only active during a small window when you are losing. Actually, 7.5 minutes isn't so small, LOL.

I'd say its good if there weren't so many other QB VA's vying for our time... Quick Release, point in OT killer, Natural Leader, Clutch (if the OC is smart on 3rd downs), Football Genius, and Laser Arm. Sometimes I've even made a case for "Slow Starter" with the advent of QB custom slots, seeing as how the run game is so dominant this season with the advent of increased interception rates. That's not to say passing isn't good, but sometimes it may interest OC's to take it slow the first quarter, pound it, and see what happens.

If your team isn't so dominant that they're never behind and they like to run the ball a lot in the first quarter, that actually favors Clock Manager. If your team wants to run as much as possible in the first quarter of the game and when you are winning and then only pass as it becomes necessary then that means the last 40-45 minutes of the game are when your QB is going to throw most of his passes in big games where your team might need to come from behind. Clock Manager provides a HUGE bonus for potentially 15 of those minutes and your OC can easily create 2nd and 4th quarter specific inputs to take advantage of that bonus when it is active.
