maybe, not a big Farve fan... but the guy played with heart last night and with the beating the Saints D gave him he never quit. Yes he was know for the ints, but I like to think he was a great quarter back regardless of his last few seasons of his dance with teams and retirement...
He definitely is a great QB. I am a true Saints fan. But he should have known not to throw across the field. His int cost the game. What makes it so ironic is that the Saints have done this so many times this year and pulled victory from the jaws of defeat. He should have not called time out so late and just went for the field goal try. There were several missed opportunities I understand, but it comes down to the one play at the end. They had the ball in field goal range. No time left. Let the clock run down and kick a field goal.
I do understand why he continued on this season. He broke some more all time records. I mean why stop when you are this close to some all time numbers. This may make him the best all time QB. He deserves it.

His INT didn't cost the game -- the Vikings should have been so far ahead at that point that the int wouldn't matter. What cost the game was the giant pile of fumbles.
The Vikings shot themselves in the foot as much as any team possibly could, yet they were still in the game for some reason. Sure Favre botched it in the end... like he always does. You don't commit half a dozen penalties and deserve to win a football game.
Farve finally earned my respect last game. I had never liked him, but he took a beating and I never noticed him crying to the refs about being hit like Tom Brady would have been

Agreed Moose, as the Vikes even with all those turn overs had out gained the Saints and it was not like Farve's ints were the only turnovers as the Vikes had a ton.
Either way they still made it a hell of a game where I believe Brett could walk away from with out being too disappointed in his or the teams effort.
I'm just not a big Favre fan. And watching that pick was, painful.
Seems to me that he can't be considered one of the greatest simply because his decision making skills, especially in crunch time, have always been lacking.
I dunno, cause I'm one of the lucky ones who great up watching Montana and Elway in their prime.

Don't forget Marino also in that class of QBs, and possibly Jim Kelly also.
