What is it about the Western conference that always makes it the best?
S5's west was the best last season, and of course Gold's west has been the best for a while.

I thought 4 was pretty good last season, with 3 gold worthy teams, while 2 actually going to gold. This year...only demon remains we shall see!

I think that psychologically I love league 5 so much that I never want to leave. This is why we have so much heartache in the playoffs.
That and my half hour gameplanning.

In the beginning it seemed like every one was saying Silver #4 and Silver #7 were the best at the beginning. Silver 1 then made a claim for eliteness and now pretty much everyone league could say that they're the best.

I guess you have to define "Toughest League". To me, that means the league with the most Gold level teams(A level teams). To others, it might mean the most number of above average Silver teams(B level teams). Yes there is a difference. So which do you consider harder, a league with 2-3 A-level teams or a league with 4-6 B-level teams?
S1 has Maine Grenadiers, Who touched my peewee?, & Funk Druckers, all teams that did very well in the tourneys in S13 and even won one. They have a proven record against other top level Silver teams and even some Gold teams. They were unlucky enough to have the Whistle Pigs, probably the best Silver team in S13, in the same league.
S7 has Final Thought, Crib Midgets, & Montpellier Wildcats, all who are run by coaches who run or own Gold teams, or have done so. Thus these are very well run and coached teams that were unlucky enough to all be in the same conference.
To me, the proven record in S13 of S1 and the great coaching staff in S7 have to put them at the top or near the top of the toughest Silver leagues.
Not knocking S5 or other leagues down, but what did they do in S13 or what Gold level coaches do they have?
