Well, just like last off-season, been trying to decide what the future holds for the Thunder. At this point, I just don't think i have the energy to re-tool in the off-season again. Well, actually, i think i do have the energy, as recruiting is half the fun 
... but in reality, what i don't have is the time to do it.
It's definitely been exhausting over the course of the past few seasons for sure, as it became evident early on in Season 11 that our days of "cruise controlling" to ~14 victories per season were over, lol.. as such, the past 3 seasons haven't worked quite as often as hoped/expected. the first season we were 1 play from the #7 seed... 2nd season was the schedule from hell, playing the top 9 teams in the first 9 weeks of the season, and we just never recovered from the morale/chem hits. This season was a real bummer too -- with all the team movement (cpu/guts/demotions) that happened i really thought this season was the one we had a real shot at and really felt we had added some great weapons to support that notion... had some good wins, but again, fell just one (stolen) game away from the playoffs and a rematch/beatdown at the hands of the Hedgehogs (again, lol)...
Bottom line, I think S14 ultimately would end similar to the last couple seasons -- ie, struggle with chem/morale again after a roster revamping.. this time even more so... i think 80-90% of the team is at or even past retirement age. Plus this time around the WL actually has a couple USA teams demoting to Pro.. take away 3 (or more) current West Pro teams, getting gutted or being demoted, and the best of AAA will be coming up again -- competition will be strong for sure.
anyway, it's been a great ride... very proud of the fact that we intentionally chose the lowest rung (BBB) of the likely most popular league to start with way back in season 2, and fought our way to the top league in GLB...
so, as to the future... after working so hard to get here, i considered going the "gutted" team route and stay in Pro for S14 and accept a AAA demotion for S15... but that always kind of bugged me when opponents did that -- nobody likes 255-0 games -- so i'm leaning against it in an effort to try to do my part in maintaining some integrity in the league.
so at this point we're considering giving it a go as a slow build team if we can drum up enough interest to start over.... that's something that would solve some time issues for now as we'd pretty much be on cruise control for the first 2 or 3 seasons, and maybe that'd give us a chance to re-energize..
lastly, I've made and had some enjoyable contacts with a lot of you guys and if you happen to be in the mood to create a new player (or 10, lemme know...
