When I signed some players the contract was to be Exp. season 14, Day 1..

Did I screw up? Seems I remember you can release players after playoffs?

They will all be automatically released during the season rollover.

No. What typically happens is day 40 is when all people with contracts expiring on that day are released. Then people signed to day 1 remain on your team until the Roster Freeze is cleared, which is within the next few days usually. Don't worry, they will be released before the actual day 1 of next season.
