Hey guys, I was shopping for a new AEQ item for my TE and was offered an +3 Agility item with Dive For Yards also on it. My guy is a possession receiver type TE so the idea of grabbing a few more yards after every tackle has some appeal, but I'm not sure how well it actually works. Figured you all here would be the right experts to ask about it. So how well does Dive For Yards actually work and would you reccomend it for others?

Oh and I would be able to boost it up to 5 right away since I would be destroying another AEQ piece for the bonus tokens.

You're asking for advice for a TE?

If you actually mean to say you're contemplating D4Y on a receiving player (vs a rusher) it's a bad idea.
You want something that will give you a bonus to catching the ball, getting open, or breaking a tackle so you can gain a larger margin of yards. D4Y mostly benefits people who consistently have the ball, not might have the ball sometimes.
Think about it. In one scenario you have the ball 20-25 times a game, and you're getting tackled close to the line where an extra yard or half a yard matters. In the other scenario you receive the ball maybe 2-7 times a game, at varying places around the field, where a half a yard might mean pretty much nothing but a broken tackle or a juke might mean a touchdown or another 8 yards.
