The West still sucks. On to the rankings:
1) Minnesota Marauders - The Marauders jump up to number one in this week's Kampfire after a brutal dispatching of the hapless and inferior Kampers. With three quality wins stemming from solid scouting and gameplanning, it's tough to argue these guys aren't the class of the league right now. Yeah, no jokes this week, sorry.
2) Chicago Hedgehogs - The Hedgehogs will finally stop kicking the crap out of bottomfeeders and start getting real, as the next four weeks for these guys are Bortsville, Minnesota, CCIA, and Ketchikan. Then more bottomfeeders.
3) Ketchikan Kamper Adventure Rentals - Kampers hung in there with a team that has way, way more talent than they do in a week where most impartial observers expected them to lose by 80 or more. Brutal schedule continues with a huge matchup against Austin this week involving the two best offensive players in USA Pro West.
4) Austin Longhorns - Austin's impressive win over the SOUTH GEORGIA GROWL definitely was an attention-grabber. Were previously ranked lower due to SOFPM kicking their ass, but SOFPM is kicking everyone's ass, so I don't really think that matters that much.
5) Bortsville Mystery Nerf - Righted the ship with a very solid win over CCIA. I'm not really sure that Austin will beat them or anything, I'm just ranking Austin higher since we play them this week.
6) Corpus Christi Illegal Aliens - Another coin-flip here with the SOUTH GEORGIA GROWL. Giving CCIA the nod because they've only lost one in a row.
7) SOUTH GEORGIA GROWL - THE NEXT TWO GAMES ARE CRITICAL FOR THEIR PLAYOFF HOPES.
8) New Jersey Battalion - Playing crappy teams but beating them like they should. I bet they'd love to have some of those painful early seasons losses back- will be trouble for somebody in the playoffs.
9) Houston Toros - I have never seen a team get screwed this bad by their schedule since I have been playing GLB.
10) Las Vegas Flyin' Elvis - Pull some upsets in the next few weeks and they might squeak into the playoffs.
11) Northwest Mighthawks - Probably still terrible, but they're not losing any more.
12) Timpanogos Thunder - Will win their next three to stave off relegation, which pisses me off.
13) Dead Man's Hand - Not their season.
14) Columbus Bucks - Blah.
15) Tallahassee Seminoles - Double blah.
16) D-League Dream Team - Yay, I'm done!
