Warrior General Games

Okay the games seem to be getting better every week...this week the undefeateds all have tough games lined up, I have a feeling one of the teams will get their first loss.

#1 Bath Killer Bees AT #8 Korb Destroyers
Bath runs into its first opponent that has some fight in them, Korb stood toe to toe with the Parrots but couldn't pull off the upset last week, but now they have a chance at another of the juggernauts. Bath better gameplan against the running game or they could lose this game quickly, but my gut says the Killer Bees will keep rolling along and stay undefeated.

#2 Glasgow Colored Trombones AT #4 Warsaw Wolves
Glasgow beat up some good teams the last three weeks, but now have to face the Wolves, their hardest opponent so far. The Wolves have also beat up the competition the last three weeks, but unfortunately beating up on the Legion and the Dragoons is not awe inspiring material. Glasgow will be put to the test here, but they are just too good to go down this week.

#3 Hamburg Parrots AT #11 Amsterdam Affliction
These two teams have been waiting for this rematch for a while now. Even with a 2-3 record the Affliction provide a scary team for the Parrots and seem to have their number.
I'm not going against my team this week, though out of the three top games, this one has the biggest chance for an upset.

#5 La Tourette Syndrome AT #6 Biloxi Voodoo
Another pretty big game here, LTS coming off a big win vs the Affliction while the Voodoo hope to regroup after the Trombones humbled them. LTS looks to be on a roll and I think they can win this game, though it should be a close one.

#7 Porto People Eaters AT #14 Plainview Bulldogs
PPE hasn't looked good lately, and while the Bulldogs have yet to win a game this season, they had a brutal scheduele so far. I think Bulldogs pull an upset and get their first 'W' of the season.

#9 Amsterdam Smokers VS #16 Roman Legion
Smokers get a BYE.

#10 Parts Unknown AT #12 Stockholm Meatballs
Meatballs are coming off their first win of the season, but it was against the lowly Dragoons, even though Parts Unknown haven't look the best, they should be able to stop the Meatballs and get the win.

#13 Tranmere Titans VS #15 Dublin Dragoons
Titans just had a surprise win vs. PPE, and they should be able to start a winning streak against the Dragoons, the Dragoons are just outclassed by most of the competition in WE Pro.

Wow, you think Killer Bees and Colored Trombones are both going to lose? thats going out on a limb.
Korb has a shot because of their style of offense, but it'd be a major upset for Trombones to lose, along the lines of Patriots/Giants

#7 Porto hammers the #14 Bulldogs
#9 Affliction enjoy their bye week
#10 Parts Unknown gets unmired from the gunk and pulls out a close 1 vs. the Meatballs
#13 Transmere kicks 6 FG's in route to a 18-3 victory over the Dragoons

we (Tranmere) are not as bad as our early season start.. we lost our DC and I have been struggling to get a grasp on the changes to the game for this season. We are starting to turn it around though.

It's hard not to be outclassed when 1/3 of your team are pro-level veteran dots about to retire and the other half are not-quite-finished slow builds. We'll drop down to AAA like we planned, promote the rest of our slow builds in S14, and be back in WEPL in Season 15.

But as outclassed as we are and without having game-planned one lick (honestly--our last OAI is "Bath S12" and our last DAI is "Smokers S12"), I think it's hilarious that no one in Zeta has a) put up 100 on us yet or b) held us scoreless yet. Who's going to be the first in each category?

If I had known we were going to make a challenge out of it, I would have used a purpose built D against you instead of what we did.

Trombones won 13-10, not that far off.
My mistake was counting on the Parrots...
