Love them or hate them, I'll can't be any further off than I was last week.
#1 Parma Panthers vs #13 FootballForum Fighting Danes
According to the lolscript I have, Parma owns the #1 offense, #2 defense, and the #1 ST's, the Danes however, don't. I don't think this will be a close game at all and Parma remains #1 other week. After knocking their QB last week, he reminds me of Vince Young, has a good winning record, but not all that great fantasy numbers, a rating of 51.7 and 57.2 in the last two wins, but with a defense and running game he doesn't need to be. He might fair better this week as the Danes own the 26th ranked pass defense.
#2 The Drunken Potato Farmers of Ayrshire vs #10 Fareham Demons
I am trying to find an upset special, but this isn't it. The Farmers are just flat out playing great dotball, above average offense and a stellar defense against a mediocre team, but an impressive win last week gives them a glimmer of hope this season, but I could see them getting held off the scoreboard this week.
#3 Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks vs #9 Athenian Demigods
This may not be a good week in Mississinawa Valley, but I still can't pick against my team.
#4 Italian Stallions vs #15 Windsor Nobles
At 0-3 the Nobles still have a higher ranked offense than the 2-1 Stallions, go figure. So I have found me upset this week. Although on paper, for the most part the Stallions look better, but I have to have one this week, so we'll go with my pals the Nobles to get their first win in the Pros.
#5 Burnt Orange Rising vs #8 Hattgenstein Volunteers
We'll go with the hot BOR who just beat a stout Punks squad. Neither team is playing lights out on either side of the ball, although they are both in the top 8 for now. With a K and a SS on both Top Player threat lists, you can tell its been a roller coaster season through 3 games for both teams. Could go either way.
#6 E-City Mercenaries vs #16 Dublin Druids
The Druids, bless their heart, just can't seem to get it going, they are probably the best 16th place team in all of GLB. Their offense is showing some spark, but their defense just can't stop anyone. E-City has a better defense than offense, but they shouldn't need much to get by this game. E-City walks away at 3-1.
#7 Boston Punks vs #12 Naples Purple Nurples
Neither defense has been playing that hot, the 20th and 21th respectfully to be exact, and both have OK offenses, one relies on passes to the HB and power running, while the other relies on the QB to make the throws,, should make an interesting game. We'll go with the Punks, but if Naples can shut down a couple of players, or win the turnover battle, they could pull one out.
#11 Graz Grizzlies vs #14 London Underground
Both have struggled against the top teams, both have blown out lower teams, but the Grizzlies have a little better defense, so we'll go with them. This game should be decided within one score. But I could be completely wrong.
