I was kinda playing around with the idea of getting 2 pieces of Big Hit AEQ's along with Power Tackler VA and also investing in monster hit so that it be 8+.
Has anybody tried that approach with a agility, str and tackling build to try and create fumbles? I am thinking that there should be a good possibilty seeing as that either monster hit or big hit should go off relatively often.

depends who youre playing against of course, but if youre playing equal levels i doubt you force that many fumbles in the long run. youd also be sacrificing other things to get monster hit that high and that would keep you from making as many tackles and give you less chances to force fumbles.

if youre playing guys way lower leveled you could wreck shop ill bet.

just build a SS if you wanna go that route. Trade the big hit piece for % force fumble and it might work. Chasing fumbles in the sim is silly but I do it anyways. My LB is built like this.

Str:79
speed:90
agi:80
tackle:62

monster hit:10, Aura:9 snarl:3 diving tackle:7
VAs: power tackler, helmet crash, sure tackler, David vs Goliath.

I got my made tackles where I want them but so far no fumbles. I am thinking of trading my aura piece and super vision piece in for 2 force fumble pieces.

If your defensive coordinator will keep your guy locked on one player (running back or QB most likely) for the entire game, it might be very effective.

If you hit him enough times to wear down his stamina and morale, you might wind up getting a good amount of fumbles, or at least he'll go down easy.

On the other hand, if your guy is spread around into a bunch of different assignments, it's going to be less effective. Hitting a few different guys hard once or twice is not going to have a big lasting affect on them.

exactly why a morale crushing D would be awesome! Could you imagine how fast the RBs energy would go down if everyone but the CBs had monster hit and helmet crash?
