Sorry I started this guys. This kind of stuff should only be initiated by a "commissioner", or someone appointed by one. I was way out of line to try to do something of this magnitude without their approval.

Here is the deal guys, this is all make believe, but I think it could be a fun idea. If anyone else wants to make a rivalry or bowl game, bring it to this thread and I will edit the first post and do a write up for that game too. Let's try to keep it in our respective conferences, because we only are guaranteed a game against our conference opponents.

If you come up with one, please check with both teams involved and make sure they are willing to take part. I don't want to put a team in this if they don't like it.

Just post your Bowl name, trophy name, teams, and any history you want to add here. Or you can PM me if you would rather.

The Battle for the Golden Pistol

Eugene SLUGS

History
Last season both the Eugene SLUGS and Dallas Hitmen vied for a playoff spot last season. Their showdown came week 16 of last season. Which ever team won got the 8th spot and if they lost they were out. The game was a close fought battle and although Dallas led by 6 nearing the end of the game, but Eugene threw a TD pass with about 45 seconds left to steal the win. This next year they win fight again for the coveted Golden Pistol. Each year the winner will take it to there home stadium. It will be displayed with a set of Golden Bullets that display the year and the score. Last year the game was game of the year so this year the Hitmen will try and take the pistol back.

sure we'll take 2 trophy games if its cool with mikies

The Battle For The Brady's Haunted Tiki Idol

Last season LA gave Honolulu their first lost but Honolulu got their revenge in the playoffs. This time around it will be an all out blood bath to see who comes out with the coveted idol. This Game will be the most watched and the Game of the year in The Western Conference.

Haha. I was going to think of something for our game, but I like your idea. Just change the name to: The Battle for the Brady's Ancient Taboo Tiki Idol. Sure it's long but it was an ancient taboo idol.

Hehe, you can't give up already. It should be a good game. I'm ready for the season to start. Only a a few more days now

Thanks for a few laughs late at night... I can sleep the new little one doesn't seem to think I should. I am very excited for the season to start, lots of good games and wait WTF our 1st home game is the 3rd game????? Against the dogs that are almost like the Bugeaters???? Oh yeah... so now with lack of sleep I have to pay more attention oh boy...

I have to admit I am a little sad we didn't get any more tools for tactics. Good luck to all and my the best team(s) be 'Golden!'
