Quite a few last minute changes in the play-off world thanks to the Timpanogos Thunder who managed to do what Wala Wala was hoping to do: Take a team out of the Play-offs. I wouldn't have guessed that the Kampers would be on the sidelines this season. And congrats to the Toros who made the play-offs by beating DLDT and getting a little help from the aforementioned game.

I have some things to do IRL before we kick this off... So we'll get back to the Playoff Journal after these messages.

BTW... It's probably going to be some time this evening. I will TRY to do the East as well...but I honestly don't know those teams very well.

Hazy, any interest in taking our $40 bet into a playoffs last longer one? Same round exit can = tie, or we can go be who loses by less of course (assuming we don't both make it to the conf championship game, which'd make the bet the exact same, lol).

I'm also open to pumping either h2h or last longer to a hundy if you have more gamble in you.

I wonder if we could beat WW with a GP? Or course we have a first round game that blows so that may never happen. Off to the WPL the cheap and sleazy way.

Lesson learned...never volunteer for something when you don't know what your wife has in mind for the weekend.

West-Side:

Chicago Hedgehogs (1) Vs Houston Toros (8): I was wrong...I thought WW would get a chance to destroy the Toros in the Play-offs. No, the Hedgehogs will. Sorry Torros, I don't think you get another upset here. Congrats on making it to the play-offs though. 32-20 Hedgehogs..so yeah not really a destruction of the Toros..but a win is a win.

Northwest Nighthawks (4) Vs. Nashville Hounds (5): Nashville has the longest streak going into the play-offs. They're doing something right. The Nighthawks on the other hand have lost two games in a row where they led by more than 14 points only to give it up in the 4th. Stamina or Confidence issues? Not sure, but it doesn't look good for them. 38-28 Hounds. Hounds taking it with 2 late scores in the 4th to send the NWNH's into off-season. That said, this will be the best game of the west in round 1.

Washington Wolfpack (2) Vs. Austin Longhorns (7): I wonder if WW threw their game vs the Hounds to get a favorable match up in the play-offs? If so, that doesn't bode well for the Longhorns. 52-20 Wolfpack.

DLDT (3) Vs. Minnesota Marauders (6): Two great running teams. Two great defenses. DLDT has been looking better on offense as the season goes on. 28-17 DLDT.

East-Side:

Chocolate City Cha Chings (1) Vs. Pittsburgh Steel Riders (8): I'm sorry I don't know much more about the east than the top few teams. Steelers aren't and won't come close. 42-13 CCCC

Official Footballguys (4) Vs. Naked Mole-Rats (5): Really could go either way on this, but I still don't think OFG can stop NMR's offense. 32-24 Naked Mole-Rats.

Atlanta Purple Penguins (2) Vs. South Otto Fragile Porcelain Mice (7): Another contested game. 21-12 Penguins.

Alpine Golfers (3) Vs. Indianapolis Gurupies (7): Based on their last game, I think the Gurupies have the Golfer's number. That said, this one will be close but very high scoring. 44-38 Gurupies.

Well, I do think it's going to be a good game. I think we have a shot, but the sim doesn't seem to like us and it has been liking you guys a lot lately. We'll see what happens...you guys have a heck of a team and I don't think there's any shame in whatever happens for either team.

hey it was 15-3 going into the 4th quarter! If we were throwing it, it would have been like 100-0. Nashville is just that good and the Wolfpack is over rated and on their way out.
