Does anyone have any data on this or can shed some light. It has been verified in the past I believe that blocking is included in the breakblock roll calculation in a minor way. I am trying to figure out how minor are we talking about. Is it not worth training at all or is there a point you can bring your blocking up to where it will help break block in a semi meaningfull way especialy since the blocking mechanics have changed this season and speed has become less usefull for a DT.

i'll get back to you when I know more with my DT. the problem we're gonna have regarding answering this is that no very very very good builds have taken blocking high (50+) yet. the builds have been vanilla-good to mediocre to poor, and blocking hasn't made them much better imo. since pass rushing is kinda fucked in general, it wouldn't surprise me if very very very good builds who decided to raise blocking started to see instant results, as if they passed some awesome "break block threshold" that isn't achievable without a complete build + blocking. all speculation obv

I have 2 DTs one str one agi bassed but I am not experimenting with them. I have 2 younger DTs and I am primarily asking for the purpose of figuring out where I want to take their builds once I get their STR/Agi 80+. For example my lvl 32 DT has 88 natural str, 75 tackling and 74 agi right now. I am debating whether I want to possibly get his blocking to 1st or maybe even 2nd cap, Especially if I am going for a NT build, I wonder if its better to go for Blocking before Speed and Vision at his point since all he is really supose to do is take on double teams and eat up blockers up the middle.
