Seems like it's gotten a lot weaker, but maybe its just more balanced?

It is FAR more competitive now than it ever has been.

Really.

I mean, could the top teams right now even compete with the Hobos or Hellraisers or Blues or Nightmares of old? Or Halifax I guess...

Not really - the amalgamated version of those teams beat us by 21. We are far from the best team here so I'd imagine the competition level would be just fine with pre-merger teams that you mention.

I think there is a lot more parity at the top now, for seasons here the top 2 or 3 teams just dominated everyone else, right now there isn't much separation from top to middle.

But in coordination with what you are saying, if there was no WL those top teams would still be on top of CPL right now.

I also think there are a few teams in CPL right now that are very good "younger" teams (season 3 & 4) that may reduce the parity in the seasons to come, and when those teams hit their "prime" they will be right there with the top teams in the game.

zzzzzzzz

all the playmakers will be transitioning to Village Dogs once they've matured and the Village Dogs will carry the CPL legacy created by Drygerian

I'm not that up on other leagues, so I'd be curious to know if there is a better S4 roster in the game than the one for Providence.

D-League D.T. in USA Pro is a very good young team, maybe one of the best in the game, but they are a mix of guys older than S4 with some S4 guys on there.

I will go out on a limb and say we are one of the best, if not the best S4 roster, where we have over 80% of our guys from season 4.

sounds like CPL in the WL is in good hands for years to come then.

With To the First Point leaving, I've noticed a severe drop

The Yokels would have dominated every team left in this sorry ass conference. The only teams that could handle us went to WL the first season it was around.
