1 Buffalo Rampage 12-0
- the Rampage continue to take care of their business and beat everyone in their path. with all the preseason hoopla about all the MVP HBs and former all SEAPL HBs returning from the World League, it was Stefan Neudorff who has made the biggest impact on SEAPL... and paired with the leagues top HB, Wes Mailman, the Rampage look to grind out the final quarter of the season... setting up the big season finale vs the Furniture. A minor hiccup against the Monsoon sandwiched around blowouts to Oakland, West Indies and the Sweatshop have the 'page primed for their playoff push.

2 Lea Lea Furniture 10-2
-The Furniture have bounced back stronger than ever after a lackluster 2nd Qrt... Lea Lea ran up 45 on BKK, trounced a very tough Liger and Ottsel squad and beat an outmatched Tet team... they are hitting on all cylinders as they cruise towards the big tilt game 16 with Buffalo. That game will set the tone as we enter the playoffs and be a true barometer of where the Furniture are in the league...

2nd Qrt GRADE: C
3rd Qrt GRADE:A

3 Sumatra Sting 8-4
-Sumatra flexed their stingers in the second quarter, but ran into some trouble this quarter. The Lightning struck their longtime rivals first. Only a FG as time expired was the difference against a very big set of Tets... the Ligers loss in the last minute of the game was more of a great game by the DLL than a bad game from the Sting. They are still one of the most dangerous teams going into the playoffs and only games against BKK and ONO stand between them and a sure home playoff game(s)...

2nd Qrt GRADE: A
3rd Qrt GRADE: B-

4 Myanmar Military Junta 8-4
- the Junta had a fantastic 3rd Qrt... They lost to the Sting but beat both Bangkoks taking 3 of 4 games this term. They jumped from 7th in the standings to 4th over the course of the past term as well... The Junta are poised to make the playoffs but have have the toughest schedule ahead of them as they face Tet, BKK, ONO and the Ligers... if they can manage to take 3 of 4 again, they could be looking at home playoff games...

3rd Qrt GRADE: A-

5 Bangkok Bangers 7-5
-The 'other Bangkok' is trending downward in a spiral that could have them missing the playoffs... theyve lost their last three in a row after barely beating the West Indies, and they didnt look good in their three losses. Their schudule for the remainder of the season doesnt look easy as they have to face Buffalo, Tet, the A-heads and Ligers... they may not win another game this season.

3rd Qrt GRADE: D

6 Batdambang Killer Koalas 7-5
- Another team whose stock is falling is BKK. Their DC 'issues' have been well documented and they still have plenty of time to regroup and rebound, but they took a couple games on the chin this term getting blown out by the Arrowheads and Lea Lea... Their O-tangs win was a squeaker and in light of Padang's recent slide is less impressive... They still have the best WR in SEAPL in George Prenares. If they fix their DC situation, BKK will be a daunting foe for any team come playoff time. With the Sting and Lightning remaining, theres the very real chance they may not even make it.

3rd Qrt GRADE: C

7 Arrowhead Fanatics 7-5
-the A-heads have probably had the strongest 3rd Qrt in the conference... beating BKK by 26, the West Indies and the Monsoon with only their one point loss to ONO keeping them from being a perfect 4-0 this term.... The Fanatics can score some points... They have the #1 QB in SEAPL in Melvin Sniffleberg and he has helped the A-fans battle back into playoff contention with back to back wins for the first time all season. Their road to the playoffs is steep as the face the Sweatshop, Buffalo, the other Bangkok and the O-tangs... if they can win two of the four they have a chance at the playoffs. three of four and they look like the could lock it up... theyve played their way back into the hunt, now they just have to fight to keep it.

3rd Qrt GRADE: A-

8 D League Ligers 7-5
- the Ligers control their own destiny. If they run the table they are in. if not they need some help... They got blown out by the Furniture and dropped a nailbiter to the O-tangs before handing the Sting their nectar collectors... D League Tight End is the most productive TE in the conference and is a devastating Liger weapon if ever there was one. If they can keep up the roll theyve been on, the DLL are playoff bound

3rd Qrt GRADE: B-

9 Padang Orangutans 7-5
- the P-dang O-tang have had a rough term and need to step up in their final four games to make the post season. Losing to Oakland and BKK has them on the outside looking in on the playoffs, but with the Sweatshop, Buffalo and Arrowhead on the docket this coming term, they have to beat two of those three to have a shot at the post season...

1st Qrt GRADE: C-
2nd Qrt GRADE: A-
3rd Qrt GRADE:C

10 Oakland Naughty Ottsel 6-6
-the Ottsel sandwiched two blowout losses to the Furniture and Buffalo around a couple narrow wins over the A-heads and O-tangs... they are in the hunt tho.... and with some help could steal the 8th seed... it wont be easy as they have to top a hive full of Sting and bottle full of Lightning that are eager to prove they belong in the playoffs above league noobs... they have their work cut out for them, but they still have a solid shot going into the final term of the season.

3rd Qrt GRADE: B-

11 Vietnamese Sweatshop 6-6
-the Sweatshop strung three wins together over some lower end teams and a Bangers team spinning out of the playoff picture before getting curbstomped by the Rampage... The Shop could ruin the season for Arrowhead and the O-tang with wins over both. In fact, if they run the table, the Shop have an outside shot at the playoffs... They have to rearrange the Furniture to pull it off and that seems highly unlikely.

3rd Qrt GRADE: A-

12 Bangkok Lightning 5-7
-the Lightning have won three of the last four and four of their last five... they are one of the hottest teams in the conference right now. Unfortunately, it may be too little too late. the Lightning need to run the table and finish 9-7 plus some help to get in... the Lightning are the team noone has to play in the playoffs. Most teams are praying they dont have to face these guys...

2nd Qrt GRADE: D
3rd Qrt GRADE: A

13 Tet Offensive 4-8
-Tet has been eliminated after a horrid 3rd term. losing three of four with their only win over the Gangsters isnt going to get you any gold stars.

14 Bangalore Monsoon 2-10
- a close loss to the Rampage is the lone bright spot for the Monsoon this term. but then again a loss is still a loss and the Monsoon have too many. If not for the Gangsters, the Monsoon would be battling to avoid demotion

15 West Indies Warriors 1-11
-the brutality of S12 continues for the Warriors...

Yeah, when you're winning all your games by 1 score eventually something had to give and we lost two games by 1 score. Should be a fun stretch run though.

It's pretty crazy how evenly matched the #3-12 (tet at 13 as well honestly) have been.

As always, nice write up. The report card by quarter is a great concept....often enough to be relevant, but not so often as to be overbearing.

Im not tarding, but you are delusional to think, if hazy never came on, that you guys would be where your at now. he may not be doing much now, but he already fixed your team...
