In the title: around what level or level range will you start finding/have the possibility to find a good piece for a QB?

I'd go with 1 in level 1, but dont rush it. Find a very nice one, and just level it up, when you reach level 50 or so id find another one, dont forget to stockpile those points to upgrade right away once you do this.

Thats what i'd do. Higher levels get better AEQ.

I got +4 (with upgrades of course) and +8 pass quality so far on my first AEQ for my slow-build level 17 QB

no. it's random. it's possible to get good pieces in lower levels.

its just less likely

It's random but weighted. High level players are more likely to get 'quality' AEQ that pertain to that particular player type than lower-leveled players.
I wouldn't start looking until 15.

From my experience it is true, i had 3 level 65 players (2 retired, the QB didnt yet) and they get MUCH better equipment on every store refresh than my new players that i created last season.

Thats why id just get 1 on first season and level it up while stockpiling Bonus Points whenever you get the AEQ piece max level, that way when you are ready to get a very good AEQ at high player level, you'll have enough Bonus Points to max level the AEQ right off the bat (if possible)
