I thought it would be fun to start our own lil thread & discuss things like goals & different things we learn thru the season.

As the DC of my team I can tell you that my goal is is to not give up more than 125 yrds to the ground game this year.

last year rushing allowed per game was

13
152.5<-------Anchorage
6.5
3
38
56.5
12
52
19.5
68.5

24.5

Sorry I got distracted & did not finish My D did an outstanding job last season save for the Anchorage game early in the season & unfortunatly both my coaches & myself did not change anything from the prev game & they did an outstanding job of game planning.

Passing defense was our achilles heel hence the beefing up this off season. I'm working on that but I'd love to not allow a 100 yrd rusher this season.

For the Hounds on offense I would say that we want to average 4 or more yards per carry and have our QB hurried 10 or less times on the season. Also we would like 10 or less fumbles out of our HB.

Defensively we want to give up less than 1,000 yards rushing on the year. We want to beat the Kangaroos this season to lead the conference in hurries and defend our Eastern Conference sack title.

Admirable goal but I'd like to think the gap between teams has closed somewhat this season. Without a doubt you had a great D last season, probably will this season as well, but I'd like to think we'll be a little more competitive this time around. I know I'm not the only one. Theres been a lot of teams that have improved drastically, only time will tell.

Yeah the Warriors goal is to win a few games and maybe even not have our defense on the field for 80% of the game.

The Austin Lumberjacks goal this year is 5 shutouts for defense. That's a pretty high bar, but we'll see.

Offensively, I'd like to see a more efficient passing game.
