Hey,

So basically I've been wanting to give my guy the ball hawk VA but in order to do it I'll need to get his jumping up to 40, which would mean using my next few levels to put skill up rather than double capping speed/vision.

What do you guys think I should do? Work on my main attributes, or quickly get jumping up so I can get the Ball Hawk VA?

Thanks.

I'd work on Agility and Vision at first, cap to 60 both, while training in intense Strenght/Jmp

Ball hawk is the best VA for FS and SS, but imho is much more usefull at higher levels, where opposite players are very difficult to get and QBs throw much more...

At your levels the offenses you'll face are rush based, so ball hawk is less effective than other VAs. On the contrary Zone Specialist is useful, because it stops workin' when the ball has been thrown, but if they run the ball is not in the air, so the VA works , then, when you'll be higher levels use reset points ang get ball-hawk.

You're much better off focusing on your attributes first and worrying about VAs later. I definitely would not rush to get jumping to 40 just to use ballhawk and sacrifice autolevel gains on more important attributes.

I don't think Zone Specialists works on run plays. I don't know if it has ever been specifically addressed and it doesn't flat out state it in the description (because that would be too helpful). However, it does say "this bonus does not apply...after the ball has been caught." Once a pass is caught, it turns to a run play in the sim. So if ZS doesn't work after a pass is caught, I imagine it doesn't work on an actual run play also.

I guess that ZS is turned off when the ball is given to a runner, but before that, I guess that ZS will help you to identify early a run play and react accordingly. But itīs just a guess...
