Here's my build of my HB that I'd love feedback on from anyone? I'm going to move the vet points from slippery to something else at seasons end.. Because I'm not a fan of 50+ Elusive anymore in running style... was thinking of doing something around 20-35.... Any thoughts on that as well? I just finished capping Strength for my career, gonna try to 3rd cap carrying and then maybe a bit more speed and agility, trying to get to the 110/80 range with the 62+ strength plus 68 carrying soon. I've been training catching to single cap that as soon as I can and be a nice double threat back. Going for more of the Elusive/Balanced Back approach. I dunno... Thoughts?

remember to cap stamina and add 2 into cover up

it's an interesting build...while I agree to cap stamina, you missed the rollover so you don't need to worry about it for like 6 levels, unless you actually need the samina. I wonder if you might benefit from a good stiff arm piece of AEQ with your plan for tactics, you have to waste 1 point in LtS to get 2 in stiff arm but that's not going to kill you, then 4 or 5 from AEQ gives about 7 or even 9, with enough strength to stiff arm most DBs probably, but I'm not sure you have quite enough quickness to avoid DEs so you might struggle to reach the edge.

Where do you guys think I should go with him now? I'm fine with his stamina right now, we have 3 backs, I get the 2nd most carries right now. I'm not to wild on going out on a limb for the stiff arm piece, but hell I'm not sure at all anymore. It's so hard to keep up with what is working and not working in GLB back and forth every season... trying to make a back that will succeed every season seems difficult. I know that taking his catching to the first cap or close thru training sure can't hurt.

What's the consensus on putting two points into Cover Up? That worth it? Sounds like and idea that I'd be down with. I'm hoping I will be fast enough to get around those DE's especially when I get full use out of my equipment that I still need to finish getting and adding them to speed and agility. Any other thoughts?

Help to prevent fumble and costs only 2 points

Right I get that, just wanted to see what anyone else other than you thought of it

Always like getting others thoughts too, but I really appreciate your ideas! Right now I'm still training catching and carrying together... should I stop that?

If I had that build I'd train jumping/catching until catching was 35, then switch to jumping/vision, raising quick cut to an eventual 10 then double cap vision

I personally believe confidence is more important to double cap than carrying is to triple cap for backs

Jumping really worth it? I've never heard much about it as a good RB stat.

Helps receive, avoid tackles, and get extra yards when you're tackled somewhat.

Any other thoughts on this from anyone? Where would you go from this point? What level would you be looking to play in? Last season I was MVP of my AA league, but now I'm being screwed over by a owner with a weak line, bad offensive GM and slow FB and carries only against teams who beat us by 100+

I added one point to cover up, I have four more to spend this level. Honestly.... kinda at a loss as to what direction to go with the back.

I mean I could start looking for a Stiff arm SA.... if you think that really might be what this build is looking for....

Your way too slow. You should be at least 78. I'd worry about that more than carrying. If you want to be a dual threat, get catching and vision to the second cap. The way I see it, if you want to be a dual threat, get strength to 74 and not worrying about catching.

You pretty much said cap catching to second cap, but then not to worry about it the next second.... strange. ?
