NAME OF TOURNEY: Major Pro League Winners Championship

SEASON 13 SIGNUPS

Signups for Season 13 of the Pro League Championship starts in the off-season from Day 41 onwards. After the great success of the first Championship held, despite the Tourny starting in the middle of the season it was still completed with a really high quality of teams and games played. I hope the best Pro League Teams entered (Even ones that played in Season 12) and i hope the Tournament this time is completed BEFORE the playoffs to give teams the time to gameplan and not get in the way of their Playoff Games.

Same rules will still apply for Season 13, and the official thread for the Tournament next season will be created on Day 41!

PRIZE IS TROPHY ON HOMEPAGE!!!!

This is a special tournament organised by myself to give the Pro league Teams some special credit, since the World League is the main thing on GLB now. A Pro League Tournament is so greatly needed, and I would appreciate it if the best of the best Pro league teams entered from ANY REGION. If you think you have a good chance or you have a good team, just send me a PM with this information:

** FIRST 32 APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED, FIRST COME FIRST SERVED**
PLEASE NOTE: No Region will make up more then half the Tournament. If 16 teams from the USA Pro League Enter for Example, no more will be allowed entry to the Tournament. Only a Maxiumum of 50% to be made up of One Region.

Some Basic Rules for the Tournament

ALL GAMES MUST TRY AND BE ORGANISED AS EARLY IN THE DAY AS POSSIBLE, since it gives me more time to update the Bracket before i go to bed, since i live in England.

1. Scrimmages must be organised by both teams, to be played within 3 days of the scrimmage announced (we give you a day to organise it.)

2. The winning team of the game must PM me the Result and the Link to the game ASAP

3. Any teams not playing their fixture within 3 days of it being scheduled, will be thrown out, teams will be found as replacements.

4. Any Problems at any time with a team in the tournament or anything else, PM Me

5. I will post updates on this thread, when all the first round games have been played i will post the results with the updated bracket.

ALL TEAMS ENTERING THIS COMPETITION MUST HAVE 150 FLEX POINTS TO SPEND ON SCRIMMAGES. That is the Maxiumum you will need

When will the Tournament Start?

When I have RECIEVED 32 APPLICATIONS from teams, and created the Bracket. I will PM every owner, telling them their next oppenent, link to the bracket and basic Tournament Info and Rules.

You will get a Team Trophy on Your Homepage. I am currently working on a design for this, if anybody has a good design for a Trophy, PM Me.

SEMI FINAL

LAST DAY TO SCHEDULE MATCHES IS DAY 34.

The First Semi FInal was between the Russian Revolution and Dointin Djibouti, and a Missed Extra Point early in the game proved costly for the Revolution, [as they went down 27-26 to the powerful Djibouti

Unlucky Russian Revolution and I wish you the best for the rest of the season!

Congrats Dointin Djibouti, you have made the Pro League Championship Season 12 Final!!! You will find out your oppenent at the end of Day 34, and the Hedgehogs and Pests battle it out for the final spot in the Championship Game.

Chicago Hedgehogs and Buda Pests faced off and the Hedgehogs won the Physical Battle 28 - 17, in an impressive outing for Chicago. Both teams played well and it was a thrilling match and one of the best i have seen in my time on GLB, well done to both teams, and considerations go to The Buda Pests.

This game was a high scoring, entertaining and well gameplanned game, both teams played very well and were a pleasure to have in the Pro League Championship Season 12. The game at Half-Time was 28-27 to the Hedgehogs but DD came back and were on top in the Second Half.

Very Unlucky hedghehogs you have played very well in the Tourney and best of luck in the playoffs

3rd PLACE OPTIONAL PLAY-OFF

The Buda Pests and Russian Revolution can compete for a 3rd place, this will only be for Tournament History. If a Scrimmage is not scheduled, a Random team will be selected as the 3rd place winners, the team will not get a trophy for the team homepage, this is for simple pride and a place in the 1st season of the History of the Tournament, as i will keep all the winners, runners up and 3rd place.

There is plenty of time to do it, there is only 5 rounds, i know what ya mean though, next season it will start earlier..........just this season its a new idea, so its less organised
