Here we are.....Canada Pro, best of the best, and what do you know??

9 out 10 MVP's for special teams are KICKERS!!! In every other season past, it was suprising to see even 1 kicker on the list. Now almost mid-season, it is almost all kickers.

These means 1 of 3 things.

1. Returners got Berfed like Bort said he was going to

2. Teams are fielding better KOS/POS teams

3. Teams are so tight that only kickers are scoring points.

Now based on our last game I would go with #3. Also the average number of FG per season is around 30-35. With several players close to 20 or above, and it is only game 7, I'm going with the thought alot more FG are being scored and alot less return TD's are happening.

(I guess a big difference is also no real cupcakes/CPU teams.)

Last season, a punter with the conf 3rd best punting average slipped in for the ST MVP on the final day of the season.

Just wait, the MVP calculations get better.

Boo!!! Hiss!!!

Hanz, you're only speaking of the lolEastern Conference. The Western Conference has just four kickers in the Top 10. The other six (5 CB's, 1 WR) are Kick Returners headed up by the Season 10, Canada Pro Western Conference Special Teams MVP (tasha carr) and the Season 11, Canada Pro Western Conference Special Teams MVP (Ice Age).

That said, as CONN CHRIS alluded to, there's no guarantees in the MVP calculations.

True, but after a game winning FG against the only undefeated team in our conference, Peaches is enjoying her day at the top of the rankings!

I think the # of tackles a punter/kicker makes really has an impact actually.

If they get a high number of tackles, they are usually up around the top for MVP.

well of course the west is going to have more Kick Returners in it when you have a team like the Winnipeg Wrath thats all cpu but one person. Now out of the Kick Returners on the list only Ice Age hasn't played Winnipeg Wrath
