Other than which teams are on top, this season is not going as expect at all. Ranking the west is getting tougher and tougher when teams that are 0 and 6 are losing by a few points to the top ranked undefeated teams.
Let's take a look at this week's rankings:
(1) Washington Wolfpack : Meaningless game against the Kampers who probably threw the game knowing they’d lose anyway. Still, there’s no questioning who the king of the hill in this league is. Although, the Marauders will try next week.
(3) Minnesota Marauders : Solid win today. Probably one of the more expect results of the day. Still it earns them the #2 slot. Definitely the underdogs in their game against WW, but if anyone can the Wolfpack this season it is the Marauders who will be hosting the game of the week. This is one you don’t want to miss.
(2) Chicago Hedgehogs : Soundly beat CCC but by less than the DLDT did. This drops them down by one in the rankings, but probably will make them happy that they can now officially claim to be over performing if they beat WW in a couple weeks.
(4)D-League Dream Team : Today’s game against GLB’s last ranked Timpanogos Thunder would normally drop them, but the Thunder have played all the top teams close.
(5) Northwest Nighthawks : Fended off Battalion but didn’t look any better doing it than the last few teams.
(7) Austin Longhorns : A convincing win over the Stoners puts them in 6th place. They’ll have to watch out because the Kampers may decide to show up for their game this week after taking a bye against the Wolfpack.
(6) Cincinnati Stoners : Lost to the Longhorns drops them. Fortunately, everyone bellow them is dropping so they’re not hurt too much in the rankings.
(8) Ketchikan Kamper Adventure Rentals: They lost this badly simply to mess with the poor Mighthawk who was trying to fill in during T6T7’s absence.
(9) Tallahassee Seminoles : There’s no dishonor in being beaten by a better team. It still sucks though. They stay put….for now.
(10) New Jersey Battalion : Okay it wasn’t a fluke…but it’s still not a win. Staying put.
(14) Houston Toros : Didn’t the Toro’s suck in the movie Bring it on? Well, say what you like, but they beat the Hounds.
(13) Timpanogos Thunder : They just keep coming up short, no matter who they face. They’re not too far from turning it around..but don’t seem to be able to do it yet.
(11) Nashville Hounds : LOL lost to the TOROS. That might actually be worse than losing to TSE.
(12) Carson City Cubes : 50 something to 10 something. Deja Vu?
(15) Wala Wala Drunken Shriners : Please give me a reason to promote you in the rankings. Beating Demo doesn’t count.
(16) San Diego Demotion: Nuff said.
