How high would you all suggest an end-game blocking FB get his speed?

90-100, but it really depends on who you are blocking for more than anything.

I could agree with this.

makes sense. how far below the HB can a FB safely keep his speed? say a HB's speed is 130, would the FB still be okay at 90-100?

What about if the HB is just at 100? would he be okay with 70ish?

Getting some AE in First Step makes a difference here. My FB has 85 in SPD and he stays ahead of a 100 SPD 88 AGI HB. If the HB for whom your FB blocks is a 100 SPD and has good AGI, I would get SPD/AGI to 75 with First Step and he'll be good. The best way to determine is to look at replays. I had to do that to figure out if my FB was getting out there.

I dont think the FB can ever be "too far" out ahead of he HB though.

I'd say no less than 10-15 pts difference in speed from your FB and your teams HB.
