And we make it through another "week" of games but still have some major questions about some teams. I have to admit, the difference between the bottom 4 teams and the top 4 teams is a LOT closer than I've ever seen it.
1 (2) Washington Wolfpack : I would claim that I warned you, but everyone expected it. Beat a Solid Stoner team to snatch that #1 spot from the Hedgehogs.
2 (1) Chicago Hedgehogs : Tight win against one of the Questionable Quartet drops them out of pole position.
3 (3) Minnesota Marauders : Cupcake game today that meant absolutely nothing. Still they didn’t do anything to lose the #3 spot.
4 (4)D-League Dream Team : Didn’t help or hurt themselves, but demonstrated very clearly they belong to a different tier or two than the cubes do.
5 (6) Northwest Nighthawks : Didn’t really earn the 5th rank but can’t drop them until they’ve earned it.
6 (7) Cincinnati Stoners : Lost to the invincible Wolfpack by 1 point. Don’t take their mellow manners for weakness. They’re better than their record.
7 (8) Austin Longhorns : Beat an underperforming Thunder team to stay put in the rankings. Only moving up because the Seminoles have fallen. The next 2 games could seriously impact that.
8 (11) Ketchikan Kamper Adventure Rentals: I knew they couldn’t hide much longer. There’s only so much sand in this world.
9 (5) Tallahassee Seminoles : With a loss to the Kampers, they begin their ranking freefall.
10 (12) New Jersey Battalion : Lost a close one to the Hedgehogs. They have a chance to prove that wasn’t a fluke against NWNHs.
11 (11) Nashville Hounds : Staying pretty consistent in their performance against the better teams. They should start seeing a streak of wins shortly.
12 (9) Carson City Cubes : Okay, Now I over-estimated these guys.
13 (13) Timpanogos Thunder : They just keep coming up short, no matter who they face. They’re not too far from turning it around..but don’t seem to be able to do it yet.
14(15) Houston Toros : Not doing anything to make me think they’re better than I ranked them last week. Need to beat Wala Wala to avoid the Cupcake designation. Their close loss against CCCC cannot keep them from dropping this week.
15 (14) Wala Wala Drunken Shriners : They lose a close one to show they can’t get it done..even against a team that is also struggling. . I guess bad teams find a way to lose. I still believe they can win some games, but play-offs…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qwq7BYOnDrMPlay-offs?
