Okay, I feel the need to post this due to the large amount of people I see posting, and have seen posting, about "what's wrong with my build?", "why can't I sign", "why don't I start?". These questions can usually be answered with 3 letters: SAs.

Most people invest in the SA tree much too early. The base build does not have the attributes high enough to take advantage of the SAs. Think of SAs as a "boost" to your player once he has properly rounded his playing ability out and can learn a few new tricks.

When planning the build think of what SAs to invest in when it is time (I think SAs before level 40 are usually poorly spent SPs). Example: A Pass rushing DT should be investing in Shed Block, not Big Hit. Choose one SA Tree and min/max the SAs you want to acquire.

Ask questions about your build if you are unsure. At one time we were all new on GLB and made mistakes building players and have had to retire due to poor building. You will find that MOST of the guys in these forums are helpful and will give you some suggestions based on our experience.

Also, plan out your training schedule. Take advantage of chain training and "roll over". You can save yourself many SPs which can further your build

Peace

I wonder if an active pass rushing DT who gets a lot of tackles would make his team better by having some decent points in big hit.

I also think people give bad advice.

I think that Bort changes the blocking dynamics often enough that he'll change good advise to bad by the time you implement it.

I've found that this game is like a slippery squirrel, sure he'll make you mad when you can't grasp it, but he's always guaranteed to get your nuts.

My lev 60 slow built DT rolled a piece of +% break block, +1 monster hit...It is only partially upgraded (+3 monster hit right now)...once I get it upgraded it will be interesting to see how that helps...
