QB fades back, surveys the field, steps up into the pocket to let the pressure go by him, sees his intended target (per the PBP) Capablanca come free on a hitch move on the left side of the field , and then.....

And this guy won the MVP award??? (tbh, this was the only play like this all season)

It was a smart decision, everybody was covered so he got rid of the ball.

I lol'd at that play too when I saw it. Clearly the changes to how QBs handle pressure are going to impact games this season.

Check out the QBs avi...you'll understand the throw better then.
