Anyone up to putting together a list like this one prior to it being forgotten. I came in during season 8 and there is quite a bit I do not know about this conference. With many of the perennial powerhouses either gutting or moving up to WL, I don't think the conference will have the same feel in the near future and quite a bit of what made USAPL, USAPL will be lost without someone putting it down on paper.

GLB doesn't do a good job of putting steps in place to allow a league to brand itself over time, and more importantly it isn't conducive for fostering team building in terms of a brand or identity. Thus, imo it takes away from it being a "football" experience, or even a sports-franchise-related experience.

Wat? Until the WL the USA Pro was a great place to build brand and identity.

Well for one, that's just one league, GLB is a massive community beyond just that. And besides that, it still falls way short of what it could have been under a different structure and design. Heck, there were countless gutjobs and fly by night teams that went CPU and such. We have had countless skewing of the whole stats system from all of these creampuffs and that just takes away from the game in general, and that's just one of my many complaints about the system in general.

Nooo.

I shit on stuff that falls below my expectations, and I praise stuff that exceeds my expectations, that's how I have been my entire life, and imo that is a sensible and logical way to operate. I like to encourage brilliant thinking and quality work/design, and discourage the converse harshly.

I concur.

I actually agree with TSE here, the league structure outside some of the top leagues is really bad right now.

I agree for most leagues, but this isn't thread wasn't about all the other leagues!
