I had originally planned to make a fast powerback, 90str 100speed, but now i am leaning toward making him a combo back with 80base str and 110 speed with equipment. How effective would he be with powerback SAs at 80str or should I go back to my original plan with 90str. Also, feel free to give me any possible combo back tips. Thanks

80 strength works just fine.

My lvl 65 HB started out as an elusive back, but I didn't have the patience to grind speed and agility so right now he works as a combo back. However, his stats do show a bent towards elusiveness.

I'd probably build him a little differently a second time around, because I have a little bit of a fumbling issue and am designed to be a pass catcher, but here's basically what it works out to be. Numbers aren't exactly like mine, because why give away my build on an open forum?

QC, FS, Juke are all 10+
HF and Spin are 5+
All power back abilities 3+, Power through 5+

Speed 105+
Agility 75+
Strength 65+
Carrying 65+
Vision 50+

First step isn't the most important SA out there for a running back, but as a receiver I find it vital. I also 1st capped catching, again not necessary if you won't be catching passes. Jumping+DFY could be a better choice as a combo back. Since you have more strength, you could probably skimp a little on agility. Also, Juke will be less effective, as will spin, so focus on the power back abilities with the points that would be used on them.

As for VAs, I'd go with Short Yardage Monster, Slippery or Bruising Back, whichever you feel suits your back more, and whatever you feel is necessary after that. I have Red Zone Freak and YAC Attack.
