I've compiled this data today, June 7th 2008. I guess it's *possible* that several of the players detailed didn't log all (or even any) of their tackles in the WEPL if they were traded to or signed by their current WEPL team after the start of season two. Without further investigation I don't know and it'd be rather time consuming for me to find out.

The first column represents the number of opportunities the player had to make a tackle. The second column represents the number of tackles the player successfully made. The third column represents the number of tackles the player missed.

(Minimum Qualification: 84 Tackles)

Apologies for the format of the data, not ideal. More data to follow in due course relating to missed tackles...

Here's some interesting data relating to missed tackles. The percentage on the left hand side represent how often a player missed a tackle during season two, based on their tackle opportunies/tackles made data logged in my original post. The lower the percentage, the better.

Anything under 3.20% seems to be pretty good. Anything under 2.20% appears to be excellent. Anything under 1.20% is outstanding;

MsTk % Player

0.00% = Agent Ocho
0.00% = Alvar Hanso
1.00% = John Duzman
1.06% = Earl Wilkinson
1.10% = Fear

1.18% = Paul Romano
1.18% = Gunner Smith
1.18% = beav beaver
1.87% = Sean Patterson Jr
2.11% = Jon Brock

2.11% = frederik leroux
2.13% = sam owens jr
2.20% = Meseth Tigdid
2.80% = Raekwon Jackson
2.80% = Mukombe Kimber

2.86% = Ignatius Blaise
2.97% = Mark Koonts
2.98% = Mister Fahrenheit
2.99% = Prieto Andrew
3.13% = Renaldo Balkman

3.13% = Bucky Buckley-Coryatt
3.19% = Jimmy Lister
3.33% = Rocky Cock
3.40% = Horace Horsecollar
3.41% = DeAndre Washington

4.00% = Brice Gray
4.04% = NY GIANTS
4.13% = Daniel Batteman
4.30% = Travis Dd
4.76% = Oscar Elguezabal

4.88% = Santos Chavez
5.49% = Rasheedi Jenkins
5.50% = Jay Medeiros
5.62% = Justin Harris
5.83% = Yannick FATTORINI

5.83% = Rocky Hornsucker
6.84% = Ralph Wiggum
7.50% = Viktor Sanikidze
7.83% = Oliver Tullock
8.26% = William Sanchez

8.33% = Deion Smith
9.52% = Jimmy Page
11.01% = Damien Smith
11.03% = Meneo Weyns
11.76% = uri heiman
12.24% = Gregory Lloyd
23.66% = Noah Trujillo (CPU)

(Minimum Qualification: 84 Tackles)

Just been watching the third test, ENG v NZ all day so I've been amusing myself with GLB at the same time.

I really don't mean to hijack this thread, but I've been trying to figure out exactly what the hell is going on during a cricket match (test?) for like the last week and still don't know any more than I did.

It took me 2 years to learn just exactly how cricket works and my advice to you would be: don't

Good work Horrorshow, very interesting reading.

Cricket is an aquired taste, I've been watching it today but my missus is back from shopping now and I've not got a chance. I'm hoping to get the euros on tonight, I sacrificed the early kick off for a bit of peace!

Of the forty seven players who logged 84+ tackles during season two in the WEPL, they posted a combined 4856 successful tackles out of 5112 opportunities (256 misses) giving a missed tackle percentage of 5.01%...

...but this does include the CPU player Noah Trujillo's missed tackle percentage of 23.66%.

Can you higher the 'pretty good' % Horror?

Real good job HS.

As no Monarch made enough tackles to qualify, I'll give a little shout out to OLB Reef McBeefmeat, our top tackler.

75 Tackles, 0 missed, 2 FF, good effort.

That didn't escape my attention. Tells me two things. Firstly, the Monarchs defense did a great job of forcing teams off of the field last season and secondly, you guys like to rotate your players and keep everyone fresh. I think that describes your offense also, looking at how you spread the ball around.

Just crunched some forced fumble data. The number on the left represents the average number of successful tackles made per fumble forced. Here are the league leaders;

14.50 = Daniel Batteman
17.33 = Mukombe Kimber
19.00 = NY GIANTS
19.40 = Damien Smith
21.00 = Paul Romano

21.75 = Alvar Hanso
25.50 = Ignatius Blaise
26.25 = Sean Patterson
26.29 = sam owens jr
26.50 = Oliver Tullock

(Minimum Qualification: 84 Tackles)

Of the forty seven players who logged 84+ tackles during season two in the WEPL, they posted a combined 4856 successful tackles and 106 forced fumbles - which equals one forced fumble per 45.81 tackles.

Don't worry, the English Cricket team doesn't even have a clue on what goes on in a cricket game.
