Lvl 56, Run support SS. Build is S8, Day 41. Assumed 14 day offseason.

Complete garbage? Run of the mill? Good? Need higher in certain attributes and less in others?

All attributes natural. I would put all eq in speed (+38 if my math is correct, so 123 speed). No SAs at this point.

Strength - 69.45

Speed - 85.41

Agility - 70.46

Jumping - 48.45

Stamina - 50.47

Vision - 70.43

Confidence - 48.45

Tackling - 69.41

Catching - 16.45

Carrying - 16.45

Looks like an above average but still cookie cutter SS.

The only SS that I have seen be dominant in games are those that played against teams below their level. I haven't seen any SS's dominate against equal competition. However, a good SS is still needed, because a bad one can be a big hole in a defense.

Watch the games as you build the player. Then you will have a better idea of what happens as you add attributes.

So, I'm guessing you are going with no SA's?

Also, 120+ speed is drastic overkill for a SS.

Correct, no SAs at that point. But if 120 speed is overkill, then that could be toned down and SAs added. Or would you suggest pumping up another attribute instead of speed so high?

That's because most people really don't understand how to build a SS properly.

i have two.. one is balanced towards coverage, and the other is balanced towards run.. curious to see how it goes, but so far it's working well for the team.

Has only ever played against equal competition, and was very successful.

Played in USA AA last season and was under-leveled. 3 FF in the championship game.

No SAs isn't going to work. You'd need at least Super Vision and some Change Direction - and at lv. 56 there's little time left to build up a reasonable tree (even 8 in a both will take 40 SP).
Stamina needs to be higher if you got all that speed.

Actually, that build is p solid. I think he might have to settle for lower physicals to work in SAs, but it's a lot better than what I usually see.

Yea, i mean. Of course the physical atts are gonna be really good with nothing in SAs and only 15 catching. I'd def prefer vision higher as i like high vision on my SSs. I understand people don't like catching but i still think it's worth investing some training and time to at least get it to the upper 30s
