Just curious with decline. I see some rosters with a ton of season 1 guys on the team and was curious if some of you guys were just going to ride those season 1 guys this season and then just call it quits by either gutting or completely retooling with lvl 40somethings and being uncompetitive for a few seasons.

So how many of you guys plan on being competitive in season 13?

Alpine has been loading up on season 2, 3, and 4 dots for the past few off seasons so we don't plan on slowing down to fully retool fwiw

Our farm team (Chicago) will be a collection of S2, 3, and 4 guys while we mix S1 and S2 guys on our parent team (HedgeHOunds).

Not a huge secret, so I'll go ahead and say what WW's plans are. Ride out the s1 guys in season 12. Move farm team (season 6 guys) up to team in s13. We'll take our lumps the first season or two with that group, but no plans on not being competitive.

S12 is a mix of S1/S2/S3 for MM. When S13 comes around hopefully we can afford to drop the S1 and add S3/S4

***O*** is going to go ahead and make the change to Season 3/4 guys now. Probably only keeping 5-10 Season 1 players.

Glad I could be a small part of that amazing AAA2 season!

We aren't planning to call it quits at all. We have the Ketchikants coming up eventually and are focusing on the long-term, but obviously still trying to stay competitive every season.

Preferably we'd be rotating guys every season from this point on.

You really think s6 guys can be competitive in s13? I think you're risking demotion, tbh. I'm a little nervous about moving our s5 guys up for s13.

Alpine has had a season 3 starting HB for the past 4 seasons. In season 13 season 5 will be what season 3 is to season 11 if that makes sense. A whole team of season 5s or 6s won't be that great but mixing some in will be fine

Ideally, it would be nice to bring up waves of players every 3-4 seasons, instead of constantly recruiting guys for 1-2 seasons at the top.

Unfortunately, we didn't plan well enough to do that.

In a related note, Nighthawks are making a level 1 team this season for anyone who's interested.... I'm looking at you, Track...

My s6 dots > most people's s5 dots. Besides, there will be the inevitable two guts jobs and we'll survive (barely).

Not better than our s5's and that's all that really matters.

Track's busy being a stay-at-home dad or something.
