OK, just for gits and shiggles since there's nothing to do until Monday-ish ....

Rank your top 3 in BBB15. I'm talking about the group, not individuals

LB corp

DB's

D-line

O-line

Backs (HB & FB)

WR & TE's

QB's

K & P

DB's - I'm going with New Brunswick, New York, and Michigan here

D-line - Midwest, Miami Hammerheads, and NBSK. NBSK's line should be illegal btw ... it's friggin sick. Honorable mention to Rapid City just based on Edonidd. If there was a little more depth at DT I'd have to include them on the list

O-line - NBSK again with the best line here, followed by New York and New Hampshire

Backs (HB & FB) - New Brunswick again, followed by Miami Makos and New Hampshire.

WR & TE's - very close between NBSK and NY, slight edge to NB thru sheer depth at WR. Lima rounds out my top 3

QB's - Vice City, Miami Hammerheads and NBSK

K & P - Hey! found one that NBSK didn't make! I'm going with Lima at the top spot here, followed by New York and Rapid City

O-line: Here are the average pancakes per starter during the regular season for each of the teams you mentioned:

New Hampshire: 45.4
Manhattan: 57.4
New Brunswick: 64.2

...and just for comparison's sake:

Miami Hammerheads: 58.8

Of course, depth adds a great deal to the equation, but if you're just looking at the quality of the starting O-lines, the Hammerheads have some good'uns...

I never mentioned Manhattan, seeing as they escaped. And yes, depth is a major factor. If we were just talking about the starters I would have said Atlanta has the best O-line

My mistake.

NY Strikers: 27
Atlanta Wolves: 24.8

Statistically, I think the other teams you mentioned had more impressive starters...

Pancakes are an incomplete measuring stick. NY didn't have many pancakes because they are a passing team. But if you dig deeper you'll see they gave up only 5 sacks out of almost 700 attempts. Pretty damn good O-line if you ask me and their depth puts them in my top 3.

As to Miami, well, nice line and all, but again the pancake stat is inflating your value there. 193 of you 280 pancakes cames against the 3 bottom teams in the east. You also had more hurries and the same # of sacks against as NY but on 100 fewer pass attempts. Pretty good but not enough to be in my top three.

I didn't put the Wolves in my top 3 because depth is an issue.

I wish their was an easier way to compare this stuff, I like the wolves line for sure, their starters all look solid. Its really hard to compare completely without seeing all the guys ratings because pancakes usually just means you played against more lower level D-lines. The green/yellow bars show a decent comparison based on str/blocking though. Like I think Our Lt and the wolves are pretty close to identical but the other spots beat us pretty well.

Not trying to be bias, but i think you have to say Rage have one if not the best secondary in the league. We led the league in pass defense, and our depth is very good.

I can't really disagree with any of these assessments, though I was a little surprised to see us on the list, let alone multiple times. I think, overall, we still have some catching up to do here and there with the top tier teams, but we're trying to make it interesting.

I have to agree that Michigan might have the best defensive backfield in the league, but you could probably convince me on the other teams too.

I did say that; you're in my top three in the division. The teams I listed stacked up well against each other in the catagory listed - tough to separate #1 from #3 in other words - with the one exception being New Brunswicks' D-Line. I don't see anyone coming close to comparing with them in that group.

Come on, give the guys who sucked so bad in SEA AA that they had to come to a lower league and instantly stack a mediocre team, some props.

*Edit*

I can't believe you are actually here looking for attention and props knowing full well what you guys just did is shady as hell. You couldn't cut it in a league created a season before this one, so you drop your team and move to a lower league instantly stacking a team. And you come to the forums looking for props? What you guys have done is pathetic to say the least.

Yeah, there's not going to be any love for Albequerque here.

But for the purpose of this thread as a ratings thread, yep, pretty much down the board, Alb. would top the charts for talent at almost every position, and certainly group of positionals, QB through ST specialists.

For the teams who belong in this division, I stand by my the rankings given.

kicking and punting is the only place where they are outmatched by one team and tied with another in terms of average level.
