Got a nice turnout for predicting Round 1 of the playoffs, and I'd like to thank these guys for contributing to the poll all season long. Not too many upset picks, although we all know what can happen with a bad sim so we'll see if we're all wrong about these tomorrow morning!

1. Hellas Hoplites VS 8. Frankfurt Funky Monkeys
lemdog - Hellas is just going to be too strong to fall here, they have proven all season that they are the team to beat and that will continue. Hellas 37-10
comeasur337 - The only team that could've fallen into the 8 seed that I think had a shot at even staying with Hellas was Wheatfield, and they couldn't get it done in the regular season. Hoplites won't let it stay as close as their first meeting (31-17) and Miller Miller should be good for at least 2 scores. Hellas 54-Frankfurt 9
evileyez - Played Hellas very tough, perhaps the toughest of any opponent this season. Expecting another tightly contested battle but Hellas is good in all 3 phases of the game; no sleeping on the Monkeys. Hellas by 13
ufshowboat - FFM is a good team and will be a force next year, but the Hellas are just too strong. Hoplites by 21
millertime31 - Hellas by 30. Frankfurt played good games this season and maybe best against the top 3, but the Hoplites wonīt slip and be well prepared.
mike2686 - Hellas has been the top Zeta team all season long, without question. I have no doubt in my mind that Hellas will win and win big. Frankfurt managed to pull off some great wins this season but they had some terrible losses as well. Plays up to its competition. RR and C-town both only beat Frankfurt by 2. Hellas- 31 Frankfurt- 13
jxgator33 - Hellas 45-17 Hoplites are just too strong to lose in the first round.
Non Stop Dancer - Hellas haven't lost yet and Frankfurt will not change their winning routine. Cannot see Hellas losing to anybody - they'll take it straight to the top
4. Buffalo WarZone VS 5. Tallinn Tigers
lemdog - I think there has been some odd scores and outcomes for both of these teams. I think both are very talented and gameplan well. The game will be decide in the final minutes. Buffalo 24-21
comeasur337 - They just played and Tallinn won 28-14, however who knows how much planning went in by either team. Tallinn has had some strange losses throughout the year, and Buffalo has been fairly strong against the top tier teams. This will be the closest game of the first round (as it should) but I think Buffalo will squeak by. Buffalo 38-Tallinn 35
evileyez - Buffalo quickly separated themselves from the other promotes but stumbled against the top 3 teams. Week 16 loss to Tallinn means nothing, I doubt Buffalo played their game knowing they may well likely face the Tigers in Rd 1. Tallinn has also had a successful first season up here. The 4/5 is always the toughest to call. Buffalo by 3.
ufshowboat - This game is honestly up to the playoff sim gods as it could go either way. I'm going to give it to Talinn on a last second FG. Tigers by 1.
millertime31 - Buffalo by 10. Even though Tallinn won week 16. Buffalo had nothing to lose or win, so they probably wonīt have shown their real face in expectation of that 1st round match.
mike2686 - The Buffalo/Tallin game really meant nothing. Buffalo had already locked in the #4 seed. But having said that Tallin beat them in the final game of the season. I still have to give the edge to Buffalo. Buffalo- 44 Tallin- 38
jxgator33 - Tallin 35-31 Two Close teams who just played, could go either way.
Non Stop Dancer - Tallin to progress to round 2 in a close one - don't think there will be more than 6 points separating them in the end
2. C-Town Hoodlums VS 7. Estonian Wife Carriers
lemdog - Although I do think EWC is a very good team that can cause some problems, the GM's of C-Town may just get off their asses and gameplan being we're in the playoffs C-Town 31-10
comeasur337 - Hood is on a big roll after an odd start to the season. EWC is a hit or miss team right now, and while they do have the talent and some explosive players on offense, I don't think they can stop the Hood's WRs once they get going. C-Town 56-Estonian 21
evileyez - A step back for EWC this season but anything can happen once in the playoffs. We know the Hood are pretty good, better than last season, and we know EWC is down a bit. Both teams can produce solid tactics but Hoods dot upgrades will put them over the top in Rd 1. Hood by 17
ufshowboat - EWC is having a down year due to management. Owner hasn't been around and won't really have time for the team for another few weeks, but I heard he will have his defense ready for C-Town and might even gameplan for once. The Hood is solid but they get upset here. EWC by 17.
millertime31 - C-Town by 24. EWC recovered from a rough start and safed the season in W 16, but C-Town is on a real nice and impressive streak and it wonīt end in round 1.
mike2686 - C-Town started off a little slow. But they did what good teams do win 12 in a row to close out the season lol. EWC finished strong and made a huge push to get into the playoffs winning 6 of their last 8. C-Town- 52 EWC- 17
jxgator33 - Hood 38-14 Hood have way too many good dots and some great gm's
Non Stop Dancer - Don't go down to the Hood today, you never know whos wife you'll find......dead. Yep, C-Town to take the points and the wives!
3. Russian Revolution VS 6. Lafayette Ragin Cajuns
lemdog - This one could really go either way, I will take RR with that great defense though I don't see either team scoring a whole lot in this one RR 17-14
comeasur337 - This one is going to be fun. Cajuns have recovered nicely after a dreadful start and on the right day, could be the best team in the league. RR has been a solid squad all year, playing great defense and enough offense to win the close games. As good as RR has been all year, I think the Cajuns will continue their turnaround and make this the only upset of the first round. Lafayette 31-Russian 17
evileyez - With the loss, LRC slides into the 6th seed and now faces the Russians. This is going to be a slugfest that honestly could go either way. I think the Revolution continue their great season and squeak out another 3 point win. Turnover game could be the key. Russian by 3.
ufshowboat - Gotta go with my Russians here. They have been very consistent and I think they pull out a W here in a slugfest. RR by 7.
millertime31 - LRC by 5. My upset pick, the Russians did everything right this season, but itīs crunchtime, LRC found the offense again and the EE dinosaurs are ready for a revival.
mike2686 - RR let everyone know at the beginning of the season come playoff time its game time. RR has won 14 games. Some werent pretty or very impressive but I'll say it again. They have 14 wins, RR gets the job done. LRC picked it up big time to close out the season winning 7 of they're last 9. Does LRC have anything left in the tank? Possibly, but not enough to beat RR. It'll be close but RR will escape. RR- 23 LRC- 21
jxgator33 - RR 28-24 The Rev pull out in a close one. They end up just too strong for LRC
Non Stop Dancer - This will be a shoot out with the Russians having the last shot and progressing to round 2
