When starting a strength-based DE, is it better to normal train strength while saving up SPs until you can hit the first strength cap, or should you start out intense training speed/agility? That would delay hitting the first strength cap a bit, but you'd be getting a jump start on your next attributes.

It seems wasteful to intense train strength/tackling right off the bat, since tackling is lower on the priority list, and there's no other intense training strength combo that makes any sense.

I would intense train because you could use the BT for SP's to cap things earlier. That's just my opinion.

Intense train strength/tackling? OK, that helps. Anybody else?

I started out intense training strength/tackling and used some BTs for skill points along the way. Now I'm saving them. Here are his current attributes at level 19.

Strength: 89 (77)
Speed: 35
Agility: 59
Tackling: 32

I'm pretty satisfied with the build so far. I will almost be able to triple cap agility with his end of year boosts. He is very good against the run and very rarely gets pancaked slash gets a lot of reverse pancakes.

If I had to do it over again, I would probably single train strength to get it higher faster, then go to speed agility.

Is there a spreadsheet or something that lets you plug in a starting attribute value, and see how the value changes over time if you intense train (with or without redeeming bonus tokens for SPs) vs. normal training? I want to see what gets you to the first cap faster: normal training, or intense training with redeeming bonus tokens.

Normal training will allow you to get to the first cap faster. You train it everyday instead of every 3 days. The only negative is that you don't get to start on a second attribute or begin collecting bonus tokens. I know you can use BTs in exchange for skill points, but in the long run it isn't worth it.
