Ahh the good times, landed a pee wee team and filled her up within the first hour. Now it seems teams are struggling to sign anyone and it's the good teams too. There is just too damn many leagues IMO. 8 was great! Then we get a whopping 25 and now no one can sign anyone. Pretty soon most teams will be a 1 man show. I lost a few agents myself for season 12 and have to pick up the slack. I'm just rambling...lol

Agreed. Gold and Silver are fine team/league wise, well atleast reasonable. Copper is a joke though. Would rather see less teams with less CPU's then all these cake walks for the Coppers. Doesn't help them much if they get bumped up to silver and now all of a sudden every team they play is just nailing them.

Given that the vast majority of copper teams that re-up will likely make silver (b/c so many silver teams will likely sell), I'm not seeing the purpose of so many copper leagues.

It's not like silver where you have to win to reach gold...you're likely going to make silver anyway. So Copper isn't really serving as a filter to let the better teams into silver. It's more like a purgatory where teams have to wait for a year. I don't see why cutting the number of leagues in copper would hurt. Also, that way precious players for PeeWee teams aren't wasted playing 14 games against CPU opponents, either.

And there's nothing wrong with a wait-list for PeeWee teams. If they were harder to get and you had to wait for them it would help weed out a lot of owners who will buy a team last second, fill it with 20 players, get creamed their first 3 games and then sell.

Agree with this. IMO only extra teams should be in copper.by that I mean Gold will be filled of course ,then fill silver completely with non cpu teams and any teams left over could be in copper (new teams) and only add enough cpu teams to that to fill the FEW leagues that they should have. Bort cant do anything about teams going cpu during the season but he could make it more enjoyable/competitive by following this path.

agreed sometimes I think he should concider the customers a little more, lets make it fun... so that maybe the customers spend more money... how about that theory?

Definitely all for a waiting list for PW. That way you know everyone who gets a team really wants it for the most part. That way the people who only kind of want a team or are new and interested only in the novelty of having a team, can instead just create a few extra players and see what they really want. This way they'll also be a bit more experienced and when they do get the team won't fall into the situation someone gets a team, has no clue and gets blown out first few games then all of a sudden its CPU again and a waste of time for people that still have to play the POS.

Not to mention that the players those teams DID sign are now lost to the PeeWee community as they all have to go D-League.

It's not necessarily about the cash though, the wait list is full, teams are handed out and all 25 leagues where pretty damn close to being filled by day 43 last season, then by day 46/47 there was already a ton of sellbacks because owners realized they could not recruit a full roster.

and for this reason alone the number being sold should be reduced.
