Down 24-21 with 3 minutes left in the third, Yellowknife causes Duke Nuke'em to puke it up on the goal line. It looked like this might be the turning point for us but Manitoba clamped down and stood on out throats the whole fourth quarter.

Great game again Joe Buck and clan. We'll get one more crack at you with any luck.

46 missed tackles I think was the turning point of the game We avg 10-11 per game and they quadruple our avg. Check those backs for steroids!

Well the story of the game for us was Carl Mecklenburg our ROLB. He had been previously wasting away as one of our backup MLB's getting spare PT here and there. To get him more involved with the game a few games back we moved him to starting ROLB.

In that same timeframe - late 3rd qtr, early 4th, he came alive.

A huge recovery of a fumble by Kevin Seau who had just intercepted the pass! Down by 4, we take this turnover and score a TD putting us in the lead.

Huge knocked loose on 3rd down right after the Duke GL fumble. On the ensuing drive, we punch it in to go up by 10.

On Mules next drive, 4 plays in, he intercepts the ball! We convert it to 3 pts. And extend the lead to 13.

This was a huge tackle. The only thing between the FB and a TD is CB. Check out the WR downfield ready to seal off pursuit if the FB breaks the tackles.

Perhaps you should have drank some Red Bull beforehand.

lol, I guess so. Our defense is usually very solid but Duke took us behind the woodshed that day.

Duke spends a lot of time behind that woodshed.
