Is this good? Obviously the +3 Stat and +5% are beastly, but is Distance worth it or should i reroll for Quality?

Keep it as a second piece. Pass quality is much better, but I am loving having distance as my second piece, especially with high STR.

It depends on your build I guess. Either would be a good piece. I roll with +46% pass quality and 10 Tight Spiral at the moment.

yes, you may make some crazy throws against cpu and gutted teams, but in close competition completing a pass 25 yards or more in the air is almost none existent much less a 50 yard throw where the pass distance piece might start kicking in. Ball hawk would eat that up.

Im not sure I agree with you there. The way I see it is it improves your pass quality on all long throws, not improving your max throw. Ive had my best season so far, and havent thrown a pick versus any of the top teams. This is the first year where my long throws seem to be in stride allowing for long TDs and YAC.

Its useful, but very situational. If your WRs can burn DBs, then your QB is gonna have to wind up and throw downfield, and the better the Pass Distance, the better you're to hit him in stride. My QB has thrown 30-35 yards downfield, if he didn't have a good Pass Distance, the WR would have to stop, turn and catch. Helps eliminate low thrown passes too.

What you have to know is long throws is estimated from 15 yards +. You should be throwing long passes several times a game, at least, to be effective. If you don't have decent Passing Distance, then your QBs Pass Quality will drop on these long throws. Which is why most Int are on lengthy passes that wobble.

just to add a question here....

what and where should a QB stop with his strength? lets say your finished product (somewhere around level 65), should you have 68+ in strength?

I would bring strength vision and throwing all to 74

Id say 90. Depends on the person though

In the 70s is fine. Throwing, vision, and confidence are immensely more important. Get those to 90 first before strength into the 90s.

Also, 2nd or 3rd capping agilty is more useful than strength into the 80+. You don't throw deep enough for Str to matter, but improving your throwing mechanic is good in any way
